    Rand endorsed Mitt Romney too.

The dems banned Tulsi Gabbard.. The GOP may have stealth banned Thomas Massie too?

Don't see Massie on the list, but Tiffany Trump, Giuliani & Mitch are speaking.

Helping Donnell Trump destroy America is not a worthwhile goal, IMO.

Sigh...another Trump enabler who has sacrificed principle for power.
We have long had death and taxes as the two standards of inevitability. But there are those who believe that death is the preferable of the two. "At least," as one man said, "there's one advantage about death; it doesn't get worse every time Congress meets."

    nice

Good speech by Rand. He acknowledged that he doesn’t always agree with Trump, but he emphasized the points that they agree on. Trump is nowhere close to the perfect president but it’s good to see that Rand Paul is the one speaking about foreign policy at the RNC and not Lindsey Graham.

He sacrificed nothing, he has served his principles by actually being able to implement them.

Rand is accomplishing way more than Jorgensen/Cohen or the LP for that matter. Glad to see Rand up there talking. Unfortunately my newsfeed from fellow Republicans no one has shouted him out(positively) like they have other speakers. I dont know how to propel Rand to the front for 2024

I really respect Ron Paul for his firm principles and solid record, but his son is more pragmatic than his dad, he knows he can help to get things done, or sit on the sidelines in idealistic fantasy land.

RPF members which do you think is better ?

I prefer Ron Paul over Rand Paul.
    Rand Paul's speech was fantastic.

Rand Paul accomplishes a lot more, so in that sense he is better. Ron Paul delivers a more principled stand, showing us where we really want to be, so in that sense he is better.

Can't we just be glad there are both?

We need a lot more.. of both of them.

CNN and Fox News did not air Paul's speech. MSNBC had Maddow interrupt it to do a fact check.

That's because all the media either didn't show his speech or they cut it off 2 minutes into it. No one saw it.

Hopefully he will take this opportnity to draw some attention to bi-aprtisan Trump-Pelosi led $6 Trillion big gummit spending/national debt addition this year also and global neocons role who are behind thousnads of troops still being left in Afghanistan even after 2020 election date to "surround Iran" from both sides.

I thought it was a good speech. Rand Paul isn't part of the problem. He is always coming up with solutions to problems the democrats create. I hope he rides a bike like his dad we need people like him serving our country making it great. With Rand Paul we will keep making America great.

I agree. Good speech. I wish Rand had mentioned the First Step Act and HBCU funding but I understand that wasn't the audience nor the "law and order / give more money and power to the police" Trump is trying to put forward now. The same Trump that is arguing against cashless bail because it "puts dangerous criminals on the streets" (it doesn't) pushed through a bill that probably freed more prisoners at one time than ever in U.S. history.

Cashless bail DOES put dangerous criminals on the street.
The people Trump let loose were not nearly as dangerous as those going free and immediately committing more crimes with cashless bail.
