As the "Sun Belt" wave of coronavirus cases and hospitalizations burns itself out - as is always the case with a virus - those authoritarian politicians still clinging to the ability to push their citizens around refuse to give up. As in the Lord of the Rings, they cannot bear letting go of the ring of power. But what will it take for them to finally relinquish their stranglehold on our lives? Many hospitals are now suffering from a lack of patients and deaths among those under 50 years of age remain nearly non-existent. When is this over? What's the end game?

Well, we're organizing what resistance we can here locally. I can only hope others are doing likewise and just not talking about it, but I'm honestly doubtful that that's the case. Too much division within the political wing for any effective action to take place. That and the pervasive demoralization, defeatism and attitude of perpetual victimhood.

There are those who remain prepped. I knew a group of people down in Summers county who had amassed 6 million rounds of ammo. There are the militias. All well and good, but will it be enough, assuming they even step up when the time comes.

Mind is everything. Getting oneself to act is the biggest obstacle. Once the decision is made, things go much more easily. Overcoming inertia is the real challenge for even those people.
