250K People From Las Vegas Face Eviction Next Month

I was reading an article the other day about how NYC might never be the same again. I'm thinking Las Vegas might not ever be the same again either. How can these hotels stay in business with so many people not working, not traveling plus add social distancing requirements to the casinos (which has to cut into their bottom line). It's crazy to think of where this country is going to be in even another year (let alone another couple of years).

They can solve homelessnesss the same way NYC has, make being homeless illegal!
A savage barbaric tribal society where thugs parade the streets and illegally assault and murder innocent civilians, yeah that is the alternative to having police. Oh wait, that is the police

I read the article and this is exactly what is wrong with journalism. Very similar to bottom feeder youtubers who resort to clickbait. Title of article should be: "250k Clark County Residents Face Eviction Next Month." I see why they titled it the way they did. It gets more attention. Some numbers to put things in perspective. Clark county is the 11th largest county by population in the United States and 22nd largest by area. Clark county population is 2,347,920 and Vegas population is 671,922.

10% of Clark County may be getting evicted. If true, isn't that significant?

What I would find significant is ten percent of them were allowed to live for free decided by random govt people. Did they waive the property tax ? We have an entire percentage of the country added to the deadbeats that were already here by giving then unemployment bonuses greater than earnings and free rent.

What about the landlords. That wasn't mentioned in this article. Small time landlords with be forced to sell their properties for pennies on the dollar. Large real estate conglomerates will then come in and buy everything up.
