Thread: Bitcoin accounts seized

    Bitcoin accounts seized

FYI, Federal agents seized accounts of terrorist organizations. Bitcoin has lost its anonymity so I wonder what the next step for crypto is? I think BTC is going to lose value somewhat as the anonymity was valuable to the coin.

U.S. authorities seized millions of dollars, more than 300 cryptocurrency accounts, four websites and four Facebook accounts associated with the cryptocurrency schemes run by al Qaeda, ISIS and the al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

So it's not anonymous at all any more? is there any crypto that is truly anonymous?

If you have to give your ID info to open the account, it's not anonymous. BTC was the mainstream testbed for the CBDC network and the masses' general introduction to the CBDC concept. It was created by MIT under an NSA contract. Just so happens that CBDC is now being honed for implementation by.....wait for it.....MIT.

They have never yet and they never will have the sense to reflect that this hobby-horse is a manifest violation of the most important law of nature, which has established from the very creation of the world one unit unlike another and precisely for the purpose of instituting individuality."- A Quote From Some Old Book

The transactions don't have your name on them, bitcoin is as anonymous now as it has ever been. If you can trace a transaction to a bitcoin address, then you can follow the transactions on the ledger.

There are other cryptos that are designed not to be traceable - monero, zcash, verge are examples.

Bitcoin is currently valued at $11,890, up a little bit in the last couple days since the story came out.

This is a total false narrative. No bitcoin was seized, none at all.

The feds hacked terrorism supporting websites and changed the deposit addresses. People sent money to federal controlled addresses instead of the terrorist addresses.

That is not seizing bitcoin, that is changing where the bitcoin is being sent.
