Well, they also claim, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse.", so you better know all of the laws too.
I sometimes get a phone call or a knock at the door asking for Police Fundraiser donations. My exact response is:
"I do not give money to extortion racket organizations."
Hopefully it causes a brief moment of ponder for the person asking for those donations.
Sometimes I am able to sneak in "When you got a ticket for going 6 miles over, do you enjoy and take pride paying that ticket, and do you think we need more cops on the road?"
The looks I get are quite entertaining when they stop to think about it ;-)

Yeah, that would be a full time job, what with those "lawmakers" doing it for a living.
