Agorism Ch. 1 - Become An Agorist

“The right to life is the source of all rights—and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”

Not paying taxes hasn't been shown effective to reduce government. It probably increases the size of government because people think they can get a dollar's worth of government for 75 cents. https://www.cato.org/sites/cato.org/...1/cj26n3-8.pdf

Agorism seems very hippyish and really inefficient. I would rather just pay the sales tax and get what I want at Wal-Mart, instead of having to live on a commune buying and selling tchotchkes from other hippies.

I feel like the snowboarding guy in the video is the perfect symbol agorism.

Agorist: "I'll show you government. I'll live a subsistence life and make so little money, you'll get nothing. I'll snowboard all day."

Government: "Okay. You didn't pay any taxes to begin with. I'll just raise the taxes on Warren Buffett by 1/eight millionth of a percent to make up for all the lost revenue from you hippies."
