I'll be wearing a mask in many situations in public because I would prefer not to die, have kidney failure, or otherwise become crippled.

Similarly, I'll try to refrain from eating lead paint chips, even if the Satanic-Illuminati MSMŪ says I should refrain from eating lead paint chips..

P.S. Let me just add, where were these freedom fighters, now so worked up about face masks, when it came to, Oh, I don't know, looting the public through five decades and dozens of trillions of dollars of welfarism? Where were their concerns for individual liberty when the PATRIOT Act was passed? When we invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq again, Libya...

Oh, they only care because it's election season?

And this is just mindless tribalism, red good, blue bad, or blue good, red bad?

    Piss on all your cheerios.

I keep seeing absolute idiots wearing masks in their vehicles. And jogging.
A savage barbaric tribal society where thugs parade the streets and illegally assault and murder innocent civilians, yeah that is the alternative to having police. Oh wait, that is the police

We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.

How to trigger a liberal: "I didn't get vaccinated."

I agree with this point. I still wear a seatbelt for my own safety even though the nanny state tells me it's the law. I'm not a teenage girl rebelling against my parents.

You think a mask saves you from death, kidney failure, and from becoming crippled? What is that faith based on??

A great many voters, of both parties, including folks in their 90s, are just that.

Covid has killed, caused kidney failure, and otherwise crippled people (e.g. permanently reduced lung capacity).

Proof? Or is that just a belief?

Seems kind of hard to prove, given the tests are not even accurate, and even if they were, testing positive for something is not proof of causation. Almost everyone who has died have been seniors with other conditions.

No, it's not a matter of faith, but, frankly, I'm not interested in debating it.

Ask our member here who is a nurse, male nurse, nobody's_hero.

Ask him if it's all a "deep state" hoax.

People are going to do what they do.

The consequences of that are becoming obvious in many states right now.

This has already killed several times more people than die in a typical flu season, and that's after locking down the county for two months.

It's sad that this became so politicized, & also deeply disturbing; I guess if people were bleeding out their eyes we'd ask which color, red or blue?

I guess that is the only thing we agree on. Because never before in the history of this country have we required HEALTHY people to wear masks in public. Should be my choice and nobody else's....

You think that TYRANNY means wearing a little paper mask on your face, at the grocery store.

    That's a joke; get a grip.

I'm curious: Have you been tested? If not, will you if it becomes mandated? Will you give a swab or sample of blood that will contain your DNA and be stored in a medical database?

What about the vaccine when it comes out? Will you get that too if it is mandated?

Well this is a libertarian forum, and if you listen to the Ron Paul broadcasts each day, he has the same view as I do.

So who needs to "get a grip?"

I am not controlled by fear of a virus.

I'll be quite happy to pay a large premium to be the first guy to get the vaccine.

You're controlled by the Republican party, which is destroying this country daily.

Well, really, it's destroyed; there are no more capital markets.

Socialism is here; there aren't markets, there is the Fed.

You didn't notice, because you were focused on whether or not you had to wear a little paper mask to buy onions.

It's about Liberty. Liberty to wear a mask if you want. Liberty to not wear a mask if you don't want to. Neither side has the right to restrict the liberty of the other.

LOL! Another vaccine religious fanatic who has to politicize everything. Anyone who has read my posts clearly know I don't have any connections nor adoration to the Republican Party.

If you BELIEVE you have to wear a mask to protect from a virus that no accurate test even exists for, then you are controlled by FEAR.

You're missing the point, which, ironically enough, is that you're missing the point.

Wearing a mask or insisting on wearing a mask when people are dying from a cold because they are obese or take drugs or dont get good vitamins or eat right isnt going to help. Wearing a mask means your immune system gets weaker because you dont expose yourself to as much stuff that you normally fight off that makes your immune system stronger.

You're correct on that point, given the fact I have no pension since I don't work for Corporate America that provides those sort of things...

I am so sorry that you are a slave to fear and the medical mafia. What exactly does "r3volution 3.0" mean? Sounds like you are promoting "submission," not "r3volution".

That isn't why people are dying nikcers; they're dying because this is a deadly disease.

Recall the ship's captain in the US Navy who was fired for "overreacting."

I'm in favor of supplements, I take them myself, but this epidemic is not simply a matter of a vitamin deficiency.

The US Navy knows how to prevent scurvy; this isn't that.

    Oh, it doesn't matter.

I guess it means "vote for Trump or whoever for whatever reasons."

They are, both of them. The Dems pretend to be better about it, and in some ways they have been, but they're really just playing politics.

I'll be voting for Rand, or the LP, or Thomas Jefferson, if I bother to vote.

I sure as hell won't be voting for either of these degenerate circus clowns, blue or red.

    ...nothing against circuses or clowns.
