That may be a photoshop. He picked up a skateboard in the video and hit him with the skateboard, dropping the skateboard.
Edit: those could be rails that came off the skateboard when he hit him with it.

Edit: Solved. It was his glasses in his left hand. The following video on FB shows it pretty clearly. His glasses come out of his left hand as he falls, his left hand lands on the glasses, ripping off one arm of the glasses, the rest of the glasses fling out further, then water comes out of his backpack.
