Tucker Carlson goes after Trump and Kushner ; Loses more advertizers

Ten days after Tucker Carlson attacked POTUS and First son in law Kushner, departure of his advertizers has accelerated. There is some speculation that Tucker Carlson is not out of character in his coverage of BLM protests but what is new is his harsh attack on First Son in Law Kushner who is reportedly a key pillar behind MAGA plans and strategies. His "racist" comments about Iraqi people were also made over a decade ago. Still, there is no credible MSM reporting suggesting that MAGA White House is hitting back against Carlson the same way it went after Steve Bannon after he harshly criticized First Son In Law or what he called "West Wing democrats". Expecting Trump to tweet soon to defend Tucker Carlson, that should end such speculation quickly.
On a different note, shocking language being used in some of the media criticisms of Senior WH adviser/First son in law clearly has crossed the line.

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson goes after Trump and Kushner over protests

The host criticized the president’s handling of demonstrations sweeping the country, and laid into his son-in-law and adviser over how to respond.

    06/01/2020

Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, expressed dismay at President Donald Trump’s leadership on Monday, criticizing the president’s handling of mass protests that have engulfed cities across the country and singling out an influential member of his family.
Carlson, who often uses his show to ardently defend the president and attack Trump’s foes, lambasted the nation’s leaders across the political spectrum for letting protests get out of hand. He also went after Jared Kushner, saying “no one has more contempt” for the president’s supporters than Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser. He accused Kushner of breaking starkly from Trump’s platform and talking Trump out of taking decisive actions.

Trump Takes a Big Bite Out of Fox News, the Hand That Feeds His Base

    May 22, 2020

From the business perspective of Fox News, this is about as unhelpful a tweet as President Trump could have offered…
In his tweet, the president makes explicit the subtext at which he’s hinted in the past, when offering complaints about how Fox had “forgotten the people that got them there”—meaning, of course, his and the network’s shared base of conservatives and Republicans. Previously, he had chastised Fox for allowing Democratic voices on the airwaves without articulating the other side of the coin. Here, he’s just saying it: Fox isn’t helping to elect Republicans, which, it clearly follows, they ought to be doing.

“Morning Joe” co-hosts claim that the White House attempted to blackmail the morning show

How the scion of one tri-state crime family married into another, in a story equal parts ‘Sopranos’ and ‘Game of Thrones.’
    By James Kirchick
    ...
Determined to prevent Billy from testifying, Charles set up a honey trap for his brother-in-law in a motel room—fully equipped with video cameras—and paid a prostitute $10,000. Kushner then sent a tape of the assignation to his sister, who promptly turned her brother’s attempt at blackmail over to the authorities.

Kushner was also implicated in the simultaneous downfall of his political protégé McGreevy, who became infamous for a live televised resignation during which he announced to the world that he was “a gay American.” Thanks to this cynical deflection, most today remember McGreevy as having done nothing worse than commit marital infidelity under the duress of his decision to marry a woman and live his life in the closet. But the main reason McGreevy was forced to step down from his post was that his former lover, an Israeli man named Golan Cipel whom he had put on the state payroll in a make-work job, was threatening to sue him for sexual harassment.
So, who was Golan Cipel? McGreevy had met Cipel several years earlier in Israel, and it was Charles Kushner who sponsored the young Israeli’s work visa to the United States and then generously employed Cipel in one of his companies before the governor hired him. Some speculated that Kushner, recognizing the blackmail potential of this arrangement, persuaded Cipel to threaten McGreevy with exposure. That would explain why, 10 minutes before McGreevy’s tearful confession, a lawyer representing Cipel called McGreevy’s office conveying the message that the jilted lover would keep their affair secret if the governor fulfilled an odd request: grant a charter to Touro College allowing it to open a medical school in New Jersey—a medical school for which Charles Kushner had raised money and hoped to name after his late mother. (At the time, Kushner, through his lawyer, denied any involvement.)

Disney Ditches Tucker Carlson Ads But Openly Collaborates With The Chinese Communist Party

    https://thenationalpulse.com/news/di...rce=whatfinger

Disney has pulled all advertisements from Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program. But the company is willing to collaborate with the Chinese Communist Party which oppresses black people and has Muslims in concentration camps.

Disney’s exodus from Tucker Carlson Tonight is the latest display of corporate virtue-signaling, prompted by the top-rated host refusing to mindlessly pledge allegiance to the Democrat-funding Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in light of nationwide protests over George Floyd’s death.

“This may be a lot of things, this moment we’re living through, but it is definitely not about black lives,” Carlson has noted.

While Disney is keen to display their “wokeness” and often peddles its own social justice-inspired content, their work with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is deeply entrenched and widely noted.

The CCP has an appalling human rights record by the left’s own standards, repressing ethnic minorities, quashing protests with lethal force, and silencing feminist, #MeToo activists.

Despite this, Disney has pursued joint ventures with the CCP worth billions of dollars.

“Disney is not going to offend China — they’ve had so much invested there, with theme parks, etc., and their films,” said Stanley Rosen, a professor of political science specializing in Chinese studies at the University of Southern California.

Take Shanghai Disneyland, a $5.5 billion venture, where the state-owned Shanghai Shendi Investment Group owns the majority of the park, profiting immensely.

The CCP also retains managerial control over “everything from the price of admission to the types of rides at the park,” according to The New York Times.

To solidify the deal, then-CEO Robert Iger had to “appease” Chinese officials:

He took a corporate jet to Shanghai in February 2008 to meet with the city’s new Communist Party boss, Yu Zhengsheng. Over dinner at a state guesthouse, Mr. Iger offered a more conciliatory approach, setting the tone for the next phase of talks. After that, Disney substantially dialed back its demands. In addition to handing over a large piece of the profit, the control-obsessed company would give the government a role in running the park.

Iger even has a close relationship with President Xi Jinping:

Mr. Iger, 65, has sought a personal relationship with China’s paramount leader, President Xi Jinping. After Mr. Iger learned that Mr. Xi’s father, Xi Zhongxun, a revolutionary leader, had visited Disneyland in 1980, he pressed his staff to find a photograph. A color photograph shows the president’s father, who died in 2002, wearing a Mao suit, shaking hands with Mickey Mouse. Mr. Iger presented it to the Chinese leader as a gift and a symbol of their partnership.

When Mr. Xi stopped in Seattle last September, Mr. Iger was among the American executives on hand to welcome him. At the White House state dinner a few days later, Mr. Iger was seated at Mr. Xi’s table. Just last month, Mr. Iger flew to Beijing to meet the president at the Communist Party’s leadership compound. “It’s good to see the fruits of efforts over the years,” a smiling Mr. Xi told Mr. Iger at a public meeting between the men at the Great Hall of the People in early May. “And I believe the new cooperation will continue to yield new outcomes.”

At the park – which employs hundreds of CCP members – employees “attend party lectures during business hours,” “display hammer-and-sickle insignia at their desks,” and a “party-activity center, adorned with Mickey Mouse silhouettes” operates adjacent to the park according to The Wall Street Journal.

The center has even been used to host CCP propaganda lectures.

“Party officials help manage staff welfare and arrange activities such as political seminars for members and singing contests for all employees,” the report added.

And Disney executives are well aware: Chinese state media touted Murray King, the resort’s Canadian vice president for public affairs, saying its “best employees are mostly party members.” A photo even showed King beside the resort’s deputy general manager and party chief, Jean Zou, with a screen behind them reading “party-building” meeting.

But the company’s ties run deeper than just a single amusement park. In 1997, as Disney had begun making inroads in China.

The company made “Kundun,” a film about the CCP’s brutal treatment of Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. In the eyes of the regime, the Dalai Lama is a separatist, prompting the CCP to denounced the project and pressuring Disney to abandon it. Disney did ultimately distribute the move in the U.S., and China retaliated by banning the company’s content.

One year later Disney hired former Secretary of State and China appeaser Henry Kissinger as part of an “intense lobbying effort.”

Then-CEO Michael Eisner met with Prime Minister Zhu Rongji and apologized for Kundun, insisting it was a “stupid mistake.”

“This film was a form of insult to our friends, but other than journalists, very few people in the world ever saw it,” he added.

China has also used Disney’s recent Mulan remake to attack Hong Kong protestors.

The film’s star, Crystal Yifei Liu, re-posted a meme from Chinese state media declaring “I support the Hong Kong police” alongside a heart emoji, just days after the same police force had “employed less-lethal weapons in ways that are prohibited by international norms and standards,” according to the United Nations Human Rights office.

Despite criticism, Disney never released a statement or condemned Liu’s actions.

Disney has also never rebuked the CCP’s draconian censorship of Winnie the Pooh, the company’s own cartoon character, after Chinese citizens compared President Xi Jinping to the bear on social media.

If Disney divests from Tucker Carlson Tonight, it ought to divest from the CCP, too.

Carlson’s alleged “offenses,” failing to support a Democrat-affiliated political movement which seeks to defund the police, pale in comparison to the tens of millions of deaths that have occurred at the hands of the CCP.
Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the Others enter into no rivalry with him. - Aristotle's Politics Book 5 Part 11

Tucker Carlson’s Immigration Rants Are Flat Out Racist

    By Joe Lapointe • 01/26/18
Carlson acts most hysterical lately about DACA, Delayed Action for Childhood Arrivals. At least 800,000 of these Dreamers were brought as kids from other nations and face deportation by Trump if Congress cannot pass changes in immigration laws. Most want a path to citizenship or, as Carlson calls it, “amnesty.”

To decorate his show Wednesday, Carlson’s producers showed headlines like “DACA Mayhem” and “Entitled Illegal Immigrants Demanding Amnesty.” He showed several videos of DACA enthusiasts protesting peacefully, something that outraged the host, who said with sarcasm that liberals and progressives assume that immigrants are better than native citizens.
    ...

“In fact, if anything, you ought to be deported just so a more deserving DACA person can get your house,” Carlson said in his mocking tone. He added that protestors feel “so entitled and angry and hostile that they would scream at our lawmakers and demand citizenship.”

He asked, “Why does no one love the country enough to find out who these people are and deport every last one of them?”

Carlson’s simplistic brain belch assumed every protestor he showed was an undocumented resident and that peaceful protests should be punished.

And Thursday night—just in case his loyal followers didn’t get enough bile from him—Carlson ran a highlight reel from last week in which he insulted George Cardenas, a Chicago alderman.

“What a loathsome, little demagogue you are!” Carlson said.
    Project much, Brother Tucker?

Tucker Carlson’s Xenophobia Is Horribly Effective

    01/24/18
In yet another batch of immigrant-bashing last week, the insolent Tucker Carlson of Fox News Channel attacked Phoenix City Councilwoman Kate Gallego with “questions” that were really taunts.
“How many illegals do you need in your city to make it richer?” Carlson demanded. “Would more be better? How about 10 million? Would that make it even richer?”
His guest tried to tell Carlson that immigrants helped build the American tech industry. The host didn’t care to hear it from this elected official with her Hispanic surname and her empathy for people who lack Tucker Carlson’s white skin.
“How many big tech companies were started by people from Central and South America, Latin America?” Carlson asked. The meaning of Carlson’s “question” was clear: Brown-skinned, Spanish-speaking people are inferior to bigoted sophists like Tucker Carlson.
He’s in his glory these days because immigration debate is all the rage. Carlson and Fox’s other prime-time hosts are drawing big audiences by pushing a line of fear and hate against DACA Dreamers, Democrats and decency. It is toxic, offensive and effective.

I agree with Tucker 80% of the time and disagree 20%. Tucker agrees with Trump 80%. This is what grown-up debate among countrymen looks like, not the Democrats' "You disagree with me I bash you in the head." Gaze upon us and learn Democrats.
