Ben Swann: Who Is Placing Piles of Bricks at Protests?

    Jun 3, 2020

Why Violence is Robbing True Activists of Their Moment for Change. The violence is not an accident, it is meant to distract and prevent actual change from taking place. Both police and protestors are guilty.
“The right to life is the source of all rights—and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”

I don't have the ability to watch all of it right now.

Who does he say/think is doing it?

He doesn't really know. His main point is that these people creating violence are drowning out the voices of actual protesters who have a legitimate reason to try and get real reforms done to stop the police state, and so the groups, whoever they are, are preventing those voices to be heard which could lead to real change.

If they are coming at it from an angle of "cops are all racists, and they are because the whole nation is nothing but a 400 year old racist construct", then they are not legitimate and are not interested in real reforms.

The rise in excessively brutal police actions is the direct result of training and legal and civil initiatives that have reduced us from citizens to enemy hostiles.

He's going to cover this in a future show he said, but Swann's view is that qualified immunity needs to be removed from protecting police, and that cities need to stop making a profit from police actions, which he said was the bigger issue that he would cover in a future show.

So I guess in his view the protests, if they were non-violent, could emphasis "real" reform like this.

    Just reporting what he said....

No the rise of brutality comes from police becoming tax collectors for liberal governments who don't have enough revenue to support their liberal scams because they give it all away to crony businesses and friends. They get ticket quotas and actually target individuals and paperwork to inflate crime statistics to increase their budgets. Poor people are used as ATM machines to fund city programs to help benefit poor people.

Someone is obviously organizing and paying for bricks. If this were grass roots, then you would hunt around your house for the best rock to throw at someone versus whipping a brick thru a window.

Bricks are a perverse effort to show some kind of wacko solidarity. Could be a grant through a Soros group and another extreme group.

    Being investigated from several directions,,

    No one Knows.

    someone covered their tracks.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

The episode is not really about the bricks, but the bricks are an interesting story, from an objective standpoint. I've asked when this comes up, how many piles of bricks are out there on any given normal day for some construction project? There is a lot of videos of "hey, here's some bricks, someone put them out here for the protest!". Social media hype (gossip). At the same time, what were those cops doing with the bricks in a truck, appearing to take some out?

I'd wager that Antifa/Soros affiliates have been responsible for some of them. But I'd place my bet that the plurality if not the majority of them are from construction projects.

For example, the pile of bricks shown at 3:47 in the video (and on the video preview photo) was rather quickly explained as an HOA had them delivered for a project (the pile still has it's invoice & shipping paperwork attached). And it wasn't on an actual protest route. Yet it spread like wildfire on social media.

Nails to hold it up... but you are screwing the drywall in, aren't you? Otherwise you will get nail pops over time.
