Pro-Israel community's dilemma removed ; House Republican Steve King loses primary

Another dilemma off the table. Way things are going, many more dilemmas could be gone in time ahead.
How many other House Republicans could be pursuing similar impossible goals along the lines of "Make Canada Safe Again" and "Keep Palestinians Occupied"?

    Dilemma background

Will the pro-Israel community separate itself from Rep. Steve King?

The Iowa congressman, a staunch supporter of the Jewish state, has endorsed a white supremacist running in the Toronto mayoral race, which poses a real problem to Jewish groups and individuals.

Presenting a dilemma to the pro-Israel community, Iowa Rep. Steve King, a staunch supporter of the Jewish state, has endorsed a white supremacist running in the Toronto mayoral race. Faith Goldy was fired last year by Rebel Media after she appeared on a podcast for The Daily Stormer, an alt-right website, during which she said the “14 words” motto used as an identifier by neo-Nazis, according to The Washington Post.
She also attended and livestreamed the white supremacist Unite the Right rally last August in Charlottesville, Va., where a white nationalist rammed his car into the opposite crowd, killing one woman and injuring 19.
“Faith Goldy, an excellent candidate for Toronto mayor, pro Rule of Law, pro Make Canada Safe Again, pro balanced budget, &…BEST of all, Pro Western Civilization and a fighter for our values. @FaithGoldy will not be silenced,” tweeted King, who represents his state’s 3rd congressional district

Representative Steve King of Iowa, the nine-term Republican with a history of racist comments who only recently became a party pariah, lost his bid for renomination early Wednesday, one of the biggest defeats of the 2020 primary season in any state.

From where do you get the idea that NYT is liberal?
NYT was on forefront of pushing lies/fake yellow cake stories to push American public (gullible wing) into Iraqi freeddom war blunder that is still exacting costs that will go way beyond Obama-Trump revolts. Same for Syria and other interventions. Neocon is far more accurate term for these Netanyahu-Democrats types (in sharp contrast to more alpha-modeled GOPA wing leadership that seems to establishing itself as Likud-Republicans).

"White supremacist." Another overused word that has become meaningless. Like Nazi, racist, terrorist, denier, etc. You tune out after awhile.

On review of additional details, it gets bit confusing. Granted MAGA's top donors are PI community figures, could it be he was not Jeff-Sessioned/Steve-Bannoned/Roy-Moored by Trump team despite their pro-diversity messaging tilt for 2020 elections?

The real reason Steve King lost

    Wed June 3, 2020

So, what changed? In early 2019, following his questioning of when "white nationalist" and "white supremacist" became "offensive," King was stripped of all committee assignments by Republican leaders who recognized that his presence had become a giant anchor around their necks, politically speaking.

What that meant for King was that he, well, just didn't have that much to do in Congress -- and, more importantly -- had zero influence either within his party or among the broader Congress.
King couldn't really influence legislation without committee assignments. When a piece of legislation was put on the floor, all he could do was vote up or down.
And it's that lack of efficacy that doomed him, as his opponents -- both Feenstra and outside groups -- hammered away on the idea of King as powerless.
"Whatever you think of Steve King, it's clear he's no longer effective," said longtime Iowa social conservative leader Bob Vander Plaats in a Feenstra ad. "He can't deliver for President Trump and he can't advance our conservative values." And the Chamber of Commerce blasted King in ads for being kicked off the House Agriculture Committee, making it impossible for him to advocate for farmers amid the hit they have taken from the coronavirus pandemic.

There is no proof in any MSM reporting suggesting that Trump/Jarvanka wing got him stripped of all committee assignments that made him 'useless' politically.
