It will most likely come to that.

There may still be time to stand and separate.

Pollak: What ‘Charlamagne tha God’ Revealed to Rush Limbaugh About ‘White Privilege’

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ite-privilege/

    Joel B. Pollak 2 Jun 2020

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh reached out last weekend to “Charlamagne tha God,” the host of The Breakfast Club, one of the most influential radio programs among African Americans, to discuss ongoing unrest.

Rush sought to understand the views of black Americans as protests raged in the wake of the death last week of George Floyd at the hand of police in Minneapolis. Their discussion, which aired on Monday, was deeply illuminating.

Much of the time, the two were talking past one another. For Charlamagne and his co-hosts, America is deeply troubled by racism and “white supremacy.” For Limbaugh, America today allows anyone to achieve their dreams.

There was one moment that encapsulated the entire problem — and explained the fact that many white, well-off Americans seem to be deeply involved in leading and fomenting the violence that has marred the Floyd protests.

It came after Limbaugh asked Charlamagne how he proposed to solve the problem of racism. Charlamagne said that was not his question to answer: rather, it was Limbaugh who, as a white man, had to undo “white privilege.”

    The transcript, from RushLimbaugh,com:

RUSH: How do you stop it? (crosstalk)

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: I have a question for you. I want to know. How are you gonna use your privilege as a white male to combat this prejudice. You got a direct line to Donald Trump. (crosstalk)

RUSH: No, wait a minute, I don’t buy into the notion of white privilege. See, I think that’s a liberal —

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: You’re being —

    RUSH: That’s a liberal — (crosstalk)

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: You’re being delusional.

RUSH: — political construct right along the lines of political correctness. It’s designed to intimidate and get people to shut up and admit they’re guilty of doing things they haven’t done. I don’t have any white privilege — (crosstalk)

CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: Do you know what white privilege is? White privilege is that what happened to George Floyd would not have happened to a white man.

RUSH: If what happened to George Floyd had happened to a white man we probably wouldn’t have even heard about it.

    CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: Huh?

The pause lasted more than four seconds, as Charlamagne and his colleagues were caught by surprise.

Of course there have been white victims: Tony Timpa, for example, died in the custody of Dallas police in 2016. But his death did not provoke riots or become a national cause — nor did anyone take it as evidence of the conduct of police in general.

(And that is the problem...if people had paid attention to those of crying havoc about this years ago, this would not be happening now, and the Marxists would not have a powerful propaganda tool. - AF)

Charlamagne had not considered the problem from that angle. But what was even more revealing was that he was unwilling to discuss solutions to racism unless they involved Rush Limbaugh committing to ending “white privilege.”

In other words, Charlamagne gave power over his life, over black America itself, to a white man.

Many black leaders — including radical ones — recognized the folly of that approach. Malcolm X, for one, preached the importance of black self-reliance. So, too, did Steve Biko, the leader of South Africa’s Black Consciousness movement. (He, too, was killed in police custody in 1977, and is remembered and celebrated today by South Africans of all races.)

Placing “white privilege” at the center of the problem also places white people in the leading role.

With that in mind, it suddenly becomes clear why so many young white Americans have been drawn to radicalism: not just because they have been indoctrinated by their elite colleges or by Hollywood, but also because in a world where “white privilege” is the decisive issue, they can be the leaders. Ironically, “white privilege,” as an idea, gives whites more power.

It has been inspiring to watch examples of idealistic black activists disarming white Antifa rioters handing out bricks, or stripping masked white kids of the spray paint cans they intended to use to vandalize buildings during the protests.

But it has also been disturbing to note that there are few black leaders to whom the movement, or the country, can turn for guidance. Few trust Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, for instance.

The most important voices of a new generation claim “white privilege” is the central focus. That may be comforting, since it shifts the burden.

But it is also crippling, and it simply reaffirms a racist hierarchy that Charlamagne tha God and Rush Limbaugh each, in their own way, abhors.

Although things are changing, statistically even today a disproportional number victims of excessive force are going to be people of color. If Miriam Carey were White, she'll probably be alive today.

That said, for many in media and political establishment focussing solely on 'race' factor (that is an important and legitimate factor in many such cases) seems to be far more profitable for their goals than highlighting use of excessive force/police brutality as an issue in itself. Once our forces go 'soft' in managaing peace at home and musclular culture gets reprogrammed in a 'sensitivity is our strength' european type model, where do we draw the line? Even the phrase 'proportional use of force' is seen as almost an insult by many alpha wannabe (probably with some deep insecurities) folks.
There has also been significant overlap in domestic/overseas peace management forces and training methods and two cultures tend to be intertwined. Globalist neoconservatives funded Dems as well as GOP (both GOP calssic and current Dems funded GOPA wing) will oppose 'softy' image of our forces with so much at stake. Being 'policeman of the world' comes with a certain price.

Study: More Whites Killed By Police Than Blacks

    https://thefederalistpapers.org/us/s...ce-than-blacks

Author and Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison caused controversy when she said recently she wants to see a police officer shoot an unarmed white teenager in the back.

(Evidence in this thread. - AF)

Only then will she agree that the conversation about race is over. But Morrison’s wish is already a reality.

“This is the conversation. I want to see a cop shoot a white unarmed teenager in the back,” said Ms. Morrison. “And I want to see a white man convicted for raping a black woman. Then when you ask me, ‘Is it over?’, I will say yes.”

Those comments reflect a common view that black Americans are systemically targeted by the police. However, analysis released over the weekend shows that more white people die at the hands of law enforcement officers than any other race.

Peter Moskos, an assistant professor at New York City University’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice, has concluded that during the period ranging from May 2013 to April of 2015 roughly 49% of those killed by LEOs were white, while only 30% were black.

As researchers point out, FBI data on police killings is infamously incomplete. Moskos turned to the website Killed By Police for more data.

While 25% of the website’s data is incomplete, Moskos figures are in-line with two other previous studies that varied in research approaches.

Investigators from ProPublica came about with similar findings using FBI data from 1980-2012. Even the fact-checking PolitiFact concluded that more whites than blacks had been killed by police from 1999-2011.

PolitiFact points out, however, that blacks only make up 12% of the population. By breaking down racial populations it would appear black men are at a 3.5 times greater risk of being killed by police. But that doesn’t include a breakdown of violent crime stats.

“Adjusted for the homicide rate, whites are 1.7 times more likely than blacks die at the hands of police,” Moskos said. “Adjusted for the racial disparity at which police are feloniously killed, whites are 1.3 times more likely than blacks to die at the hands of police.”

The figures Moskos ran included both incidents of justified force and wrongful death.

“The data doesn’t indicate which shootings are justified (the vast majority) and which are cold-blooded murder (not many, but some). And maybe that would vary by race. I don’t know, but I doubt it,” Mr. Moskos wrote on his blog.

The data contradicts widely held opinions regarding law enforcement and race. This perception is fed by the media which reports on incidents which involve race and often ignore those that don’t.

Public outcry is currently focused on the shooting death of Walter Scott at the hands of officer Michael Slager in South Carolina, as well as the suspicious death of Freddie Gray who died in custody of the Baltimore police.

The stupid thing is that I'm totally for protesting the police. The crappy thing is that it's turned into a race issue, so the full issue will always be obscured.

The sad fact is prejudice from police is based on some level of reality, if 50% of the time if police stop a younger black man and he is up to some nefarious thing, but when you stop a white person it is only 5% and you do that for 10 years where does that put your mindset as a police officer?

Prejudice usually is formed from life experience, some is taught, but usually it is formed.

For example there is a certain race and age group near to where I had once lived that were horrible drivers, does that mean they are all 100% bad drivers, no. But if even 50% are, it forms a prejudice that is based on the reality. The police live this every day and it must be very difficult to cope with especially if you are trying to be a "good" cop.

That's what is so frustrating...there was actually progress being made and police killings are/were declining.

By removing the focus from the training and the militarized mindset that cops are soldiers behind enemy lines under constant threat of enemy attack and that their fellow citizens are enemy combatants to be neutralized, by turning instead to "you're all just racists" just utterly foils the whole effort and puts you right back to square one.

That's the purpose of this thread, to dismiss that idea.

There are no crimes against people.
There are only crimes against the state.
And the state will never, ever choose to hold accountable its agents, because a thing can not commit a crime against itself.

I believe this is intentional and would not be surprised if US intelligence agencies and the police are behind allot of this. Either directly or funding those in positions that will incite useful idiots by directing and using the opposition to move public opinion back in their favour through violence, an irrational infantile belief system, riots and unwarranted destruction of property against those who are not their enemy.

This happens every single time this issue hits the national stage. This cannot be coincidental. It has happened far too many times.

I am certainly convinced that this is being orchestrated.

    +rep

AND the fact that Christie had initially not been suspected of any crime at all.

It was all precipitated by well meaning but ignorant family calling cops for a "welfare" check.
