The Chinese CDC now says the coronavirus didn't jump to people at the Wuhan wet market

What do you think? rather strange for them to say it wasn't from the wet markets and then deny that it came from the lab?

The Chinese CDC now says the coronavirus didn't jump to people at the Wuhan wet market — instead, it was the site of a super-spreader event

Initially, authorities in Wuhan, China — where the first cases were reported— thought that jump happened at a local wet market.
Experts still don't know where the new coronavirus came from.
The coronavirus also probably did not leak from a lab

It seems to this layman that there are any number of ways that this could have started.

    People eating weird $#@!? Sure

But bats and so on don't only exist in markets, obviously.

Some guy is out there capturing them, and some other guy already lives where that's happening.

effing chicoms . Cannot be trusted . I would pay no attention . The Wuhan municipal authorities think it is most likely and put a five yr ban on certain animals. Within China about 14 million people are working in that industry so I don't think they would ban it unless they were fairly certain . China does not go out of the way to terrorize the economy like American governors, lawmakers and judges etc
