This looks super-fascinating. Is there an English-only version? I don't have the patience to cue over the German dubs...

If you're want to watch the PR bonanza it was live streamed last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-vbh3t7WVI

Long story short, some brain research company ran out of Obama's $118 million grant money: https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/brain and want in on Musk popularity. So they made a deal with Musk as the front man to draw in research money.

    Sorry to pop your enthusiasm.

Look, I work in the tech industry... I realize that this entire industry is built on inflationary funny-money. That said, technology itself is not fake. The leftists often point to military investment into tech as a "success story" for central-planning but it is exactly the opposite. Involvement from government/military-research only slows down the innovation and technological development that would occur otherwise because the government and military-research have very specific objectives that do not align with the most rapid advancement of technologies that transform daily life of the masses. For example, the military wants things like "cloaking/stealth" technologies. Such technologies have no near-range application to improve your daily life or mine. If the untold billions of dollars that are poured into such black-hole projects were not taxed away from market innovators to begin with, they would have gone to private-industry R&D which will, obviously, primarily focus on product technologies that improve our day-to-day lives. But, as the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day...

Hmmm...did I ever say it's fake? Read my previous comment in your other thread again.

Just because you work in the tech industry doesn't stop you from over extrapolate current capabilities and dive into conspiracies.
