I voted no on last month’s $2+ trillion coronavirus bill. Among its many failures, that bill denied assistance to millions of people. Today’s bill corrects an inequity by adding funds to PPP. But it doesn’t fix structural flaws that made the last bill so unfair and ineffective.

Did he vote for it today? If he did, it's probably just to get money to the small companies that lost out to the cronies last time around.

His preference would be to not have any of these convoluted "bailouts" that go to the connected, and instead give money directly to (almost?) everyone.

The best thing we could have done is get universal monthly cash relief to the people not close down the entire economy over this virus. What a disappoint he has become since he went after Trump. Another grifter to the liberty movement.

    He simply voted "present"

Geeze.... that is pathetic. Good thing he is leaving Congress, we don't need people like him in there. Too bad we can't get the other 434 members (besides Massie) to leave too.

Not sure why he thought aligning with the left wasn't going to eventually result in one of these decisions where they will completely abandon him if stands up on his principles.

Massie got plenty of support from Trump supporters after standing up on his principles even after Trump attacked him for it.

IMO, he's distancing himself from the D/R paradigm by not picking a side, therefore not giving the ability to be painted as aligning with either party. If he's seriously considering a third party run, a vote on something that's going to pass overwhelmingly regardless of his vote isn't worth voting on at this point.

He wanted to keep his principles but not get the blame for it. It was the only move he could do considering he was running as an independent and could not count on either party for support.

Voting present is very unlike Justin and a very political calculation, something Libertarians praised him for not participating in, until now. I personally don't mind it but he was finished when he left the GOP over emotional/personal reasons, and prioritized it over the people who have supported him all these years spending money to keep him in congress.

Because he doesn't want government to force businesses to close without compensation? That doesn't make him a grifter. Go write for tabloids.

The only thing pathetic is people like you throwing great congress critters under the bus. We don't need people like you here. Too bad we can't get the other attention seekers to leave with you. Quit acting like he voted for it.

Hating Trump for loving big government isn't aligning with the left. It's fighting against the people we are supposed to be fighting against.
