Driving Your Car Will Soon Be Illegal

What kind of future would be if driving Your old car would be Illegal? when every vehicle will be either automated or self driven? personally i do not like that all vehicles will be all self driven?

Noticed how in this article they claim that autonomous vehicles have made no single accident which really not true at all there had being sevearl causes of these autonomous vehicles casing including casing a burn and potential for a hack which of course the article makes zero mention on the safety.
The other issue with autonomous vehicles? you cant control which destination you want to go on your own they are treating you like a child.

Why People Keep Rear-Ending Self-Driving Cars
Driving Your Car Will Soon Be Illegal

Google’s autonomous vehicles have now logged more than one million miles on roads dominated by human-driven cars. Subjected to the same real-world road conditions as us mere mortals, self-driving cars have been through rain, sleet and snow. Autonomous vehicles have driven the equivalent of circumnavigating the globe 40 times — without incident.

In fact, self-driving machines have been hit by human drivers 11 times, but never been the cause of a single accident. According to the data, human driver error is responsible for 94 percent of all crashes across the planet. And regardless of the amount of education or training, human behavior behind the wheel is not improving. Alcohol is now responsible for more than a third of all traffic-related fatalities worldwide.
Its a not a surprise that back a few years ago the mainstream news outlets were cheering on for more autonomous vehicles which really arent really proven.

Look how easy it will be to control everybody, especially in situations like this.

One signal from government and everybody's self driving car is a brick.

    Hack it all anyway.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Thats true but automated over running the current motor industry would be the death of motorsports.
That is something that everyone would be up agaisnt.Automated vehicles can never match the current motor vehicle in speed or design.
