    This Could Be Our Opportunity

I will first say that the socialists are up front with their positions and very, very vocal - they have organization down to a science.

Since Trump got elected, I got sick and tired of people spouting how great a president he was/is. Trump loves his country, and wants to MAGA, is all I heard, even after presenting his On the Record sheet. To the point that people put him so high up on a pedestal as if he were a king.

Perhaps there might be a silver lining out of this... Perhaps not...

Things are sooooo bad right now, Coronavirus hysteria, lockdowns, hugest debt in the entire history of this nation, QE4, a “republican” president quoting take the guns first due process later, public schools closed and now businesses across the country, the list goes on, and on, and on... and now, gun “permits” are not being issued/sold/processed, or delayed who knows how long.

Is it remotely possible, that trump in his glorious wisdom, got the ball rolling to wake people up out of their ridiculous stupor, hoping that Now is the time for people to finally take it back once and for all? It’s Local, ”Individual” rights, NOT Fed!

If so, WTH are people waiting for!? Permission?!?!

“The right to life is the source of all rights—and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”

I think it would behoove us to point out that government has now destroyed the economy over a death rate population-wide of 0.000086%.

We should also update that regularly, so people can see corona virus completely fail to kill us off faster than pregnant women are replacing us.

CoronaHysteria set aside, folks should be doing everything they can to shrug the Fed off their backs. Though, not many folks are capable of that line of thought. Just thought I’d light a match to see where it goes.

Since most things are shutdown, operating minimally, groups of folks could gather, build momentum, and “overload” the system.

Collecting state infection and economic numbers could be helpful. Later we can use them to prove that the state which governs least governs best.

A large part of the blame lies on the typical hysterics of the quasi-private media corporations.

The CDC and WHO added fuel to their fire. What a mess. Ideal time for a reboot indeed.

The govt has been allowed to shut down the entire economy . Not sure If I see any real great opportunity here . Most people are going to spend the next decade trying to recoup what they have lost this quarter is what is most likely .

Nope. Sorry. It's not possible. Trump is the perfect president to roll in martial law while everyone stays sleep. By downplaying the crisis at first, the left reflexively demanded that Trump do more more more. And since the right has been in "defend Trump at all costs" before, during and after the impeachment...the right will keep defending Trump no matter what he does with the possible exception of straight up gun confiscation. Seriously, we have people here arguing that the internment camps being rolled out are for the "elite pedophiles" even though Trump's AG declared Jeffrey Epstein actually did kill himself. We get strange twisted conspiracy theories about how an earthquake was really a nuke set off by Trump to kill pedophiles that were keeping children underground. (No explanation as to why a tactical nuke in an underground facility wouldn't kill the very children you are supposedly saving.) I'm not against a sensible conspiracy theory. Just see my sig. But the mental gymnastics people are jumping through to defend Trump's authoritarianism are unfreakingbelieveable. In the past the Alex Jones types spun conspiracy theories that potentially raised the alarm about the liar-in-chief. Now stranger conspiracy theories are being spun to defend the liar-in-chief.

The funny thing is...there is a lot for me to LIKE about Trump though not for the reasons most of his supporters have. I love the money he gave HBCUs. I love the criminal justice reform. I love the idea laid out in the SOTU about funding for vocational education in high school. I'm saying this because my concerns aren't based on some cocamamie "TDS" issue. They are because I see real problems in this man who is literally an empty suit and a used car salesman. People think just because he "stands up to the media" that he's principled. Actually he is a megaphone for his millions of supporters who also can't stand the media. As long as he fights the media they think he's "fighting for them" regardless of what he is actually doing.

And what happens if Trump is stopped? We get Joe Biden! Lord help us! Democrats do seem keen to stop Trump from getting the emergency power his DOJ is asking for. But they will absolutely give that o Biden. Will the Republics stand in opposition?

That said, there are opportunities. But those opportunities lie in offering solutions to the problems facing Americas. Seriously, this isn't about Trump. He can never save nor destroy America. Elon Musk is more important to the liberty movement right now than Trump. Why? He's proving that capitalism is a part of the solution rather than part of the problem by his announcement that he's ramping up production of ventilators.

    https://techcrunch.com/2020/03/20/sp...lon-musk-says/

And there is the Italian 3D printing company that is printing ventilator vales.

    https://www.3dprintingmedia.network/...mation-device/

There is even a Farcebook group dedicated to open source 3d printing of medical devices for helping with the outbreak.

Why is this important? Because capitalism itself is on trial. Sure the virus started and got out of control in a communist country. (China). Sure a country with socialized medicine has the worst death rate. (Italy). But that's hard to hear over the stead drum beat of "We need medicare for all to fight this."

It's not enough to get people to say "no." You have to give them something to say "yes" to.
