I will disagree, all the major economic activity occurs in cities. People flock there for opportunity. Yes its a cess pool of progressive thinking but it could also be a center for other philosophies if thats what the colleges were brainwashing with.

Throughout time cities have only wrought trouble on society.

Something breaks in the human psyche when there's not enough room for thought.

Economic opportunity be damned when mobs of humanity vote en-bloc to curtail freedom and liberty.

I hold firm in my belief that the country's troubles could be cured by walling off and flooding all cities with over 200k... Start on both coasts.

Virtually all of the thievery and con games occur in the cities. Productive activity occurs in flyover country.

You can make the argument that people weren't designed to be there and you may be right or wrong but the fact is people do and will flock to cities as they're the epicenters of culture and finance.

Likely due to the concentration and interaction of knowledge and experiences.

Liberals are leaving California in doves, only to continue voting Democrat no matter what state they go to. I wouldn't mind them moving to a new state if the state they were going to wasn't a red state.

Cities would never have been so large if the government didn't manipulate the marketplace.

    Or offer sanctuary.

We're being governed ruled by a geriatric Alzheimer patient/puppet whose strings are being pulled by an elitist oligarchy who believe they can manage the world... imagine the utter maniacal, sociopathic hubris!

Hong Kong is quite possibly the highest density city/state in the world and the government doesn't manipulate the marketplace.

Hong Kong was a refuge from one of the worst governments on earth.

And I'm fairly certain that it is affected by central banking and other government manipulations that favor big cities at the expense of rural areas and small to medium towns.

Their list of cities seems to have a lot of red state destinations. Texas, Idaho, North Carolina, Montana, Florida...
