    Running for state representative

I recently filed to run for state representative in Kansas' 113th district. This will be an open race, and therefore I should have a better chance to win than I did last time. Last time I was running against a wealthy incumbent who was personally popular with people, which made it tough. I also learned a lot from my previous race, and I believe that I can make the necessary adjustments to be able to win this race. I'm running on the same liberty-oriented platform that I ran on the last time. I adjusted some of the wording on my website, but the issue positions are mostly the same.

The primary isn't until August 4th, so I imagine most people who are interested in donating won't donate until closer to the election. I just thought that I should inform everyone that I filed to run again.

An open seat is great. We need more people to run for State Rep. Hopefully you can raise enough funds.

Maybe reword/remove? It reads like you were someone's secretary - a position usually reserved for young attractive women with no other qualifications.
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

It’s basically the only political experience I have, so I felt like it was necessary to put that on there. It shows that I’ve been in Topeka and have an idea of how things work up there.

Sorry that I haven't posted here in such a long time and didn't keep people updated on what's been going on with my campaign. I've just been so extremely busy that I didn't hardly have time to come here and post. But, I won my race last night 53%-47%! I defeated a big government, establishment Republican in an open race. Young Americans For Liberty came here and campaigned for me. They did a great job of knocking on doors for me all over my district. I worked extremely hard as well. It was a great night. Since I don't have an opponent in the general election, I should be the next representative in my district. The only way I won't win is if someone runs a write in campaign and defeats me, which is extremely unlikely. I'll try to keep everyone informed regarding things that are going on in the Kansas legislature next year. Thanks.
