Marijuana Use May Increase Risk of False Memories

Your memories may be false if you try to recall events you witnessed while high on marijuana, a new study suggests.

It found that taking just one hit of the drug doubled people's number of false memories of a virtual reality scenario, CNN reported.

A false memory is one that didn't actually occur or one that differs from the way an event actually happened, often influenced by suggestions from other people.

I'm convinced that different body chemistries react differently to weed.

That's the only way to explain the different results some people seem to get.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Partly, but it's also due to the variability of the drug.

False memory...also known as a lie, perhaps?

I find that a lot of people who generally don't smoke sometimes have very creative ways to handle memory when it comes to promises or remembering things they said. Just an observation.

We did. Then dannno said he remembered Trump doing something--anything--to thwart the Deep State.

Evidence like that can't be dismissed out of hand.

Thats why there are different views on its use. However, it is still unhealthy to use it just like food that is supposed to be taken daily, except for those who are taking it for medication. Another thing, I did not get what's with the 'false memories'?

And What was the science presented for that argument??

Because there are several scientific studies as to the anti-viral properties of cannabis.

and others regarding therapeutic smoke (sage) inhibiting the spread of viruses in general.

Only read the headline, not the article. Didn't bother reading it since I knew whatever argument they were making was gonna be complete bs.
