Jim Jordan is one person that made solid arguments against impeachment that I really liked. He straight up exposed the house dems for their weak point.

I am not surprised to see that he is just another party first politician.

Not to overtly defend Jim but I think most fiscal conservatives have conceded that the debt will never be paid and that we will either default on the debt (requiring a constitutional amendment) or print Federal Reserve Notes until they are worth more as toilet paper.

The easy way out of this is to pass Ron Paul’s competitive currency bill which would provide private sector Americans with a lifeboat off the USS USD. Those on Social Security, Pensions, & Govt employees (like myself) would suffer but they will suffer anyway.

Jordan sold his soul the top spot on the Judiciary Committee. No wonder Amash became so disillusioned with these characters.

You can Fact check if you want... what he says in the tweet is true.

    Cuts wasteful foreign aid

    Any proof of this?
Did total foreign aid go down?

He wants to cut it by 21%. It'll never happen though. And of course he won't cut the Israeli aid.

Yeah what he say's may be the truth but it skims around the issues and not looking at the overall issue. Jim Jordan is accurate with what he said.

I wonder what Walsh thinks about Obama sending $150 billion to the Iranian's without any congressional oversight.

The debt is growing faster under Donald than under Obama - TRUE

Jordan used to warn about the debt being so big under Obama - TRUE

Everything he said is accurate. You can research it yourself!

from what I'm finding it looks like overall foreign aid has gone down the last few years but different sources use different numbers

2015-2017 it was ~ 49 billion each year
    now its ~40 billion???

"On a path to a balanced budget" is the worst part of the tweet imo.

Yes and when you get out of the tunnel vision of catch phrases you have to look at the overall picture. You have to spend money in the places that need it and then you make money by structuring and prioritizing.

This is a guy running for President and he is an imbecile, just like I said.

Jordan is a Republic, so he was just passing along the Trump OMB talking points of the day. It’s a proposal, so it will have nothing to do with what Pelosi will agree to. “Budget will balance in 15 years”. Yeah, that’s a joke.

Walsh is right, spending is out of control, and it isn’t getting any better. Blame Congressional leadership for that.

Trump doesn't have to sign it. The buck stops with him; he just doesn't have the balls to do what is needed.

But Trump is an alpha male. People of that nature tend to have balls.

The best strategy, according to a lot of anti-Trump people here would be to fail miserably and not get anything done and not be re-elected.. then we would probably end up with a socialist or something.

Obama increased spending a lot faster as a % than Trump, so the tweet is not entirely accurate.

Of course. You and I would do it. I would tell them up front that no omnibus bills will ever be signed. Break it up into small portions.

But we know the reality of it. Pelosi would never budge, and would love blaming Trump for everyday of a government “shutdown”.

The GOP had control of House, Senate, Suipreme Court and Presidency between 2016-2018 but still the omnibus bills kept coming along with trillion dollar deficits.

Republican's are just Socialists with a different set of priorities.

Yep. Which is why I said blame Congressional leadership. Party doesn’t matter.

Well, the GOP leadership do what they're told. If Donald was a great leader like he thinks he is he would have done something in 2016/18 but he didn't. He's a fraud who is not being honest. Sooner or later all of it will catch up with him.

This has already been addressed from several different directions.

If you want to employ a losing strategy, go for it, get enough people to agree with you and do it.

If you want to employ a winning strategy that will balance the budget, reduce spending and cause the best possible outcome for America in the longrun, then it's very easy. Just support Trump and encourage the spending and troop reductions like Rand. They will come in good time.

The way it will catch up with him is that he will be re-elected. Then he will be able to reduce spending and bring the troops home. If he listened to you, he would have failed, then he would lose the election to a socialist.

He's been saying he will end wars and bring troops home for 3 years. It's not happening even if he's re-elected. He is a fraud just that you can't see it yet.

He's never going to cut spending either.

The way it will catch up with him is the same way it caught up with W. Bush. There will be an immense crisis and it will be blamed on the Republicans and Donald. Then we will get a real socialist either 2020 or 2024. Be prepared.

Trumpkin bushbot neocon Jordan has declined to run for reelection to the HOR, he's a quitter. Rather quit than face defeat as a Deep State NWO Trumpkin.

It is disappointing to watch him go this route cos he can still press Trump on fiscal issues while continuing to support this. He doesn't have to go the Amash route.

Now he loses all credibility when he starts criticizing the debt when say Bernie or Biden starts spending like crazy. I watched his put on a show in one of those house panels, grilling the shyte out of dems witnesses.

    I stand with Jordan.

Fake Joe Walsh just said he would prefer a socialist to Trump, a socialist will not improve the budget.

Someone please quote this so Warlord can see it.
