KY Capitol Stormed by masked men, (guns rights)

    https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/autom...045710982.html

Men in balaclavas packing semi-automatic rifles and wearing camouflage, bulletproof vests and combat boots marched into the Kentucky Capitol in Frankfort on Friday, driving out terrified visitors.
The men were gun rights activists and members of the group We Are KY Gun Owners, staging a Second Amendment rally proving they have a right to appear to be a paramilitary operation in the open-carry state. They were allowed by security to step around the Capitol’s metal detectors.
“We can’t just whittle away one little piece here, one little piece there,” Calen Studler told the Louisville Courier Journal, referring to gun rights. “Then the [Constitution] doesn’t mean what it says anymore.”

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

Armed 2nd Amendment supporters rally in Olympia

Washington lawmaker wants to ban openly carried guns at the state Capitol
    https://www.nwnewsnetwork.org/post/w...-state-capitol
Following an unpermitted pro-gun rally, a Democratic state lawmaker has introduced legislation to ban openly-carried guns on Washington's Capitol grounds.

State Rep. Tana Senn of Mercer Island said she filed her bill Monday, just days before a key cut-off deadline, after witnessing what she described as an "unsafe work environment" at the Capitol last Friday.

Not a good way to convince people that gun owners are not scary- come in looking like you are ready for war.

    These people- not scary.

These types of images- not helping promote gun rights. Not re-assuring the general public.

100% agree. The 2nd amendment wasn't created so people could walk around looking like military soldiers with assault rifles....

These activists should be wearing hunter camo & orange vests, to truly support our 2nd amendment hunting rights

Way to totally miss the point there Zippy.

    That was not the Purpose..

The Purpose was a WARNING of what they face attempting to disarm Americans..

It is a Warning that is being Both Ignored and Provoked at the same time.

This is Prepping for War.. do you want one??

There is coming to NO middle Ground.

So there is a threat of violence by some. That could encourage people wanting to restrict guns from such people. (I do not favor gun restrictions).

    LOL

There is no threat of violence, nothing will happen if our rights are not violated.
Only a tyrant would want to restrict guns from such people.

And nobody believes your lies about your position on guns.

Yes, it is quite common these days to find roaming gangs of armed civilians in uniforms patrolling our streets and highways, harassing innocent people and threatening them with violence for noncompliance.

    Totally unacceptable behavior.

Unless the uniform is blue. Then it's good
