Interesting response in the article to what (I guess) is some bootlickers claiming they are reporting the story without 'waiting for the facts' :

"We can't NOT report that police shot a three-year-old Wednesday night because Midland Police says it can't comment."

Sounds like even mainstream media outlets are tiring of the clown world stuff.

MIDLAND, Tx. (KOSA) -- Midland Police shot a teenager and a three-year-old during a house search last night, according to the children's father.

It happened in the 2000 block of East Pine Avenue in Midland around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The father told CBS7 that the teen says police threw something through the window and then broke down the door without announcing they were officers. He says they did have a search warrant.

He says the teen had something in his hand when he encountered the police, but the dad couldn't say what it was.

The father says the teen was shot in the arm and is now in juvenile detention. The three-year-old was shot in the back and has internal injuries and is in a hospital in Lubbock.

He also tells CBS7 that police have raided the house before for suspicion of drugs. He says he was at work when the search happened.

We've also reached out to DPS for comment.

We can't not report that police shot a three-year-old Wednesday night because Midland Police says it can't comment.

Toddlers are especially dangerous because they are such a small target. Very hard to hit without the proper training.

Updated article -- it sounds like (maybe) the teen-aged son didn't even have a weapon -- but to scapegoat him they arrested him : “They told my son this is your fault,” Gomez said. “It’s your fault she got shot. This is all your fault.”

Texas Rangers said they’re not releasing any details for now on how a 3-year-old ended up in a Lubbock hospital with a bullet wound in her back.

“She’s in a lot of pain,” the girl’s father, Luis Gomez said. “She just won’t stop crying, she’s shaking. She just keeps screaming every five minutes. Doctors said it’s going to be some kind of trauma. Like she’s going to be traumatized over it.”

But the child’s father said his 16-year-old son was home alone with the girl when something crashed into their window.

“And he heard the front door kicked in, so he thought someone was robbing us or something,” Gomez said. “So, he runs over there. I guess he had an object in his hand, I don’t know what he had or what. And when he ran that way, they just opened fire on him.”

Gomez said his son was struck in the arm when he took cover.
He said the teenager kept yelling that his sister was in the other room and when the gunfire stopped, she walked out with blood on her.

“They told my son this is your fault,” Gomez said. “It’s your fault she got shot. This is all your fault.”

Gomez said police have raided his house before and found drugs.
However, he said while the officers had a search warrant, they didn’t announce themselves when they came in.

According to Gomez, his son is now in a juvenile detention.
