Richmond was the nothing burger everyone predicted

    Long story short,

I stayed outside the stockade because that's where something was going to happen, but it didn't.

I therefore have no idea how the actual lobbying went, because that was a disarmed area... but the lobbying is the part of this that might have made a difference.

I don't know how many people were there, but just within eyeshot on the street where I was, were more people than the average turnout.

Biggest lesson I learned today is that I do not like the "role-players", as the USMC vet I was with described them. There was a whole "unit" of them standing in formation right next to where I was. I tried talking to them several times but they never answered anything, not even what group they were with. My vet friend walked right up and talked to them and got all the info I was looking for (he had the right hat, you see). He explained it's because I "look like a leftist" (wearing an ivy cap, I guess).

The voluntaryists, the trans activists, the Californians, the old guy with the sweet AK-74, everyone else was cordial and struck up a conversation, but the role-players acted like.... well, exactly like COPS. If any of you is in one of those groups, I'd appreciate an explanation why I should not paint them all with the same brush going forward.

I might try to edit up some video later, but I'm tired. Been up and hanging out in 25 degree weather since 5am.
There are no crimes against people.
There are only crimes against the state.
And the state will never, ever choose to hold accountable its agents, because a thing can not commit a crime against itself.

I couldn't make it this year. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to seeing the video if you have time.

Well when everybody is expecting a false flag and talking about it, they usually end up being cancelled.

They tend to like to hit when nobody is expecting it. Or when they have the crowd overwhelmed with Feds like with Charlotesville.

    In what regard?

    That nothing cracked off?

Or that you all milled about smartly for a few hours and accomplished nothing?

    Or that nobody showed up?

I was under the impression from the start that it was supposed to be nothing more than a rally and show of numbers?

I am not a member of any group like that but I see no reason to paint them with the same brush as cops unless they start killing people and dogs etc.

From what I understand it was a success. Attendance was probably between 15k and 18k with some reports placing it much higher. An incredibly diverse crowd that destroys the M$M 'white supremist' narrative.

Well, the people behind the fence presumably accomplished a great deal of lobbying. That's a pretty big win in my book.

The amount of lobbying they did is worth at least 100 strongly worded letters.

Glens guess was 30 to 35 thousand,, comparing to the 10,000 at a RP Rally...

    Photos show quite a crowd,,

and I hear a "love in" type atmosphere despite the cold.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

    1) There wasn't a single white supremacist there,

    2) The cops - and you know if *I'M* saying this it means something - were professional, didn't do anything stupider than keep the stockade rules in place, and cordial with everyone,

    3) No big igloos today.

Again, this should mean something considering it's coming from *ME*, but the lobbying was, is, and will always be the point. It has been part of VCDL's 25 year success run.
Time will tell what the effect of today's lobbying was. I didn't participate this time - I wanted to, but I had some people with me where it would have been inappropriate for them to lobby ( they are both monks ).

The lobbying was neutered this time. Usually the lobbyists are all open carrying, just like they did for every other year of Northam's term so far. It's not done as a threat, it's done to show the legislators first-hand that they're making something out of nothing.

Well, we didn't get into their offices this time, but we swarmed the streets surrounding the capitol. But 30 thousand riflemen wandering around the streets is not the same as 10 people with sidearms inside a delegate's office. In order for them to get that message they would have to have seen it going on, and anyone with a D after their name is going to see the bull$#@! that's showing up on media, even though it happened literally a hundred yards away from their offices.

    Lobby Day.
Inside the fence. there was a large group Lobbying .

Outside the Fence was a larger group of Armed Americans watching over those inside.

A Peacefully Armed Protest.. to be ignored with consequence.

Even the MSM is reporting on the obvious bias of reporting,, and a CNN clip was almost fair and balanced. (weird)

Rich Liberals Protected By Guns...Why Not The Rest Of Us?

    Written by Daniel McAdams
    Tuesday January 21, 2020

Yesterday's Virginia pro-Second Amendment rally shocked the elites to their core. Propagandized by the mainstream media, they expected out-of-control white supremacists but found a peaceful group of all races and orientations. More importantly, the local government nullification movement is growing like wildfire, with local authorities openly vowing they would not enforce gun laws passed in Richmond that they consider unconstitutional. Watch today's Liberty Report:
