That's generally how it has always gone. Young folks generally vote Dem, and then, over time, vote GOP.

How many people did not show up due to the FUD created by Republican Amanda Chase?

Republican joined hands with the NRA to try to make this event a bust.

Amanda Chase will pack a pistol to virtue signal, but wants you to cower and shelter in place at home.

Let these people be identified and remembered for attempting, once again, to lead us into a dead end.
But it was apparently a good event. What Chase did might've helped it be a good event. It was a well attended event, with a bunch of people with guns being polite.

Over at 4 Chan there were plenty who were upset that the polite people with the guns didn't get shot while trying to overthrow the government.

It all went pretty well. It always seems to be a good move to say "watch out for false flags".

Let’s hope it’ll make a difference in the positive.

I am in agreement with this.

That's great news and like everybody else, I hope it will do some good.

It's impossible to say whether heightened awareness by attendees and outside observers had an impact or not but it's unlikely that anyone will do anything too inflammatory while everyone is aware and observant. The Charlottesville event caught everyone off-guard, hence why it had such an impact. When everyone is walking around with cameras expecting $#@! to go sideways it's very difficult for provocateurs to do what provocateurs do without being caught red-handed. Spreading awareness makes shenanigans less likely.

Virginia gun rally: anti-fascist activists will not mount counter-protest

Interesting journalists are telling the leftist groups what and how to avoid it? hmm.

Anti-fascists from Richmond and Charlottesville publicly advised supporters to avoid the rally altogether, citing serious safety concerns. Molly Conger, a journalist and activist, told the Guardian activists in Charlottesville had agreed to encourage supporters to stay away.
Looks like Antifa are still trying to debunk the claims that they are busing in protesters.
“Hey! Antifascists are NOT bussing [people] in,” Antifa Seven Hills wrote on Twitter. “In fact we are encouraging folks to stay away from the capitol and downtown [Richmond] because of far-right escalations like this.”
    Interesting...

In Canada Toronto and in Montreal about a year ago or so there was a agent provocateur who encouraged some violence while in general the protest was actually peaceful. No doubt this happened in Charlottesville accident.

'Gun-grabber-in-chief': Conservatives turn on Trump as threat to confiscate guns prompts Second Amendment-related outrage

'He's a fraud and has betrayed us twice now'

Donald Trump has sparked fury among gun owners and conservatives after repeatedly backing proposals to tighten gun control laws.

The US President called for a “beautiful” bill that would expand background checks on gun buyers, prevent mentally ill people from accessing firearms, and restrict teenagers from buying assault weapons.

Michael Hammond, lawyer for Gun Owners of America, another gun group with more than a million members, accused Mr Trump of becoming the “gun-grabber-in-chief”.

Pro-gun rally by thousands in Virginia ends peacefully

By ALAN SUDERMAN and SARAH RANKIN 2 hours ago

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Tens of thousands of gun-rights activists from around the country rallied peacefully at the Virginia Capitol on Monday to protest plans by the state’s Democratic leadership to pass gun-control legislation — a move that has become a key flash point in the national debate over gun violence.

Monday’s rally was organized by an influential grassroots gun-rights group, the Virginia Citizens Defense League. The group holds a yearly rally at the Capitol, typically a low-key event with a few hundred gun enthusiasts listening to speeches from a handful of Republican lawmakers. But this year’s event was unprecedented. Second Amendment groups have identified the state as a rallying point for the fight against what they see as a national erosion of gun rights.

The pushback against proposed new gun restrictions began immediately after Democrats won majorities in both the state Senate and House of Delegates in November, with much of the opposition focused on a proposed assault weapons ban. More than 100 localities have since passed measures declaring support for the Second Amendment.

Erich Pratt, senior vice president of Gun Owners of America, said voters need to replace the Democrats in control of the government in Virginia.

“We need to throw the bums out. We need to clean house in the next election,” he told the crowd.

TPTB stood down in regards to a false flag.

People were recording, people were armed.

They probably thought it was just better to let people rally and then proceed to violate the constitution as planned.
