Misogynistic men who identify as part of the “Involuntary Celibate” movement are domestic terrorism threats, according to a new report.

The Texas Department of Public Safety included the warning in their 2020, “Texas Domestic Terrorism Threat Assessment” (PDF).

“Although not a new movement, Involuntary Celibates (Incels) are an emerging domestic terrorism threat as current adherents demonstrate marked acts or threats of violence in furtherance of their social grievance,” the report noted. “Once viewed as a criminal threat by many law enforcement authorities, Incels are now seen as a growing domestic terrorism concern due to the ideological nature of recent Incel attacks internationally, nationwide, and in Texas.”

“What begins as a personal grievance due to perceived rejection by women may morph into allegiance to, and attempts to further, an Incel Rebellion. The result has thrust the Incel movement into the realm of domestic terrorism,” the report explained.

“The violence demonstrated by Incels in the past decade, coupled with extremely violent online rhetoric, suggests this particular threat could soon match, or potentially eclipse, the level of lethalness demonstrated by other domestic terrorism types,” the report warned.

You'll see a lot of people there who have an understanding what incels are, also who Chad and Stacy are. But they don't talk about "Becky", but they do talk about "roasties". Our government has been taking out money for years and paying people to argue on message boards. 4chan is a key one of them.

Honestly I didn't even know what an "incel" was until I read this thread. I can't be bothered to go out of my way to learn the lingo of my fellow millennials. But now I know.

I did manage to figure out that I was a MGTOW before MGTOW was a thing.

I'd be lying if I said I don't get lonely at times and I have, in my 30s, found myself wondering what my final years will be like, but I'm disheartened by online dating where every damn profile you click on, the woman is saying, in all caps, "I HAVE KIDS AND MY KIDS COME FIRST AND IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT IT THEN KEEP LOOKING". Those women will likely never find what they are looking for. You're not going to find any species of mammal on this earth where the male is going to readily accept offspring that aren't theirs. If they do accept them, they're doing it because they love the woman, so the man in that case would not truly be putting the kids first; why should the woman insist on it?

Thing about that is, most people who are happily married don't even put their kids first, at least not in such strongly-worded ways. These people truly value the bond between man and wife and as a result are much more likely to form healthy families as a result, which obviously the kids benefit from.

This is something that should be near the top of the libertarian agenda. It seems like prostitution has gotten more illegal over the centuries, not like we actually know this, but, you know, brothels and such in the west, based on today's popular culture, you assume it existed. Ok grandma. sorry to burst your bubble but there are a $#@!load of reasons for men to avoid women these days. Most of them directly related to women, and the courts. Fortunately for me (in this instance) I'm not young and have been in in a happy relationship for 28 years. But if I was in my twenties or even thirties I would be wary, very wary.
