Indeed. Based on history, why do you believe them this time?

History? Ok ill bite. Historically the United States supported Iran after world war 2. The United States politically was neutral when Iran was being invaded by the Germans the British and the soviets. The United States is known to back different sides of conflicts in order to create a state of containment. The United States argued to make Iran an Ally after world war 2. Iran agreed because they were promised to have their own state after world war 2. The CIA participated in the coup so that Britain couldn't install a puppet regime. The Iran nuclear deal was a continuance of this strategy it was designed so that when they broke the deal they would be punished but if they didnt they would essentially have permission from the world powers to be a nuclear power. It was about manufacturing global consent. Trump blew up the nuclear agreement because Iran's supreme leader is getting up there in age and the hard liners will take control of the government. Trump took out a hard liner and gave Iran an excuse to break the deal because they can blame the United States. Trump also gets to remove talking points against the Trump administration by neocons that he is soft on Iran. The neocons now have less power in the Republican party. He has 9 out of 10 Republicans agreeing with his Iran policy.

Are you seeing things? Are you saying the video is fake or Iran is not new to the peace-keeping stage?

Trump and the neocons – like Pompeo – have been lying about Iran for the past three years in an effort to whip up enough support for a US attack. From the phony justification to get out of the Iran nuclear deal, to blaming Yemen on Iran, to blaming Iran for an attack on Saudi oil facilities, the US Administration has fed us a steady stream of lies for three years because they are obsessed with Iran.
And before Trump’s obsession with attacking Iran, the past four US Administrations lied ceaselessly to bring about wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Serbia, Somalia, and the list goes on.

Demonizing Iran is part of the Jewish mainstream media’s program and part of the Israeli-Occupied Government’s agenda. Iran is NOT a threat to the American people. However, it is to Israel and so that is why Trump and the Congress want to go to war with Iran. Finally, we Americans overthrew the democratically elected Mosadegh government in Iran in 1953. We Americans supported Saddam Hussein in his war against Iran in the 1980s. We Americans shot down an Iranian passenger plane in the 1980s. We Americans spend $500 million a year to destabilize Iran. We Americans support Israeli assassinations of Iranian scientists. We Americans have slapped economic sanctions on Iran and canceled a perfectly good missile treaty with them — all to please the Jews and their politicians in the Congress and that big Israeli in the White House. We Americans supported Israeli bombings of pro-Iran militias in Iraq and Syria — and this is why they attacked us in Iraq. Indeed, Arabs see no difference between Israelis and Americans — nor should they.

The political goal was and continues to be for Iran's moderates to remain in power. Iran and the United States are pretend enemies.

The only thing that's been confirmed is that Trump did not confirm the intelligence to the satisfaction of stalwart Trump supporters like Rand Paul and Mike Lee.
