You haven't heard there was an imminent attack coming. That is the answer. There was none.
You probably heard it, it just didn't click.
Trump originally said it was to prevent an imminent attack, which could have come in days or weeks or months, while the Pentagon told the Intelligence Committee members it was to avenge the death of the contractor.
