Crowds of illegal aliens lined up to get driver’s licenses on the first day that the sanctuary state of New York officially allowed for all eligible illegal aliens to obtain the state ID.

On Monday, illegal aliens came out in droves to Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) locations across New York and cheered as they were given driver’s licenses for the first time in the state’s history. In June, Democrats in the state legislature and Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) passed the “Green Light NY” law, which allows about 725,000 illegal aliens all to be eligible for driver’s licenses.

They also have to prove identity with foreign documents and residence in NY.

Those who got their licenses today went though months of processing already.

Who says you have to show a license in order to register to vote? In NJ, you just fill out a form (that is, "register"), making whatever claims you want - it's done on the honor system and no one is allowed to question you about citizenship. There are never any PSAs warning illegal aliens that it is illegal for them to vote here.

This year - for the first time in 12 years - I was allowed to renew my license through the mail like I always used to. I didn't have to show up at the DMV with 4 very specific forms of ID, including a picture ID and a special state sanctioned copy of my birth certificate which I had to send away (& pay a fee) for. The license they sent back, looks like a degraded image/copy of my last license - the poor quality means it will be very easy to create phony ones. Now that illegal aliens are deemed entitled to have licenses, the state no longer considers hard legal proof of identity important!

Governor Murphy will be declaring them eligible to vote in our elections by next November. Not right, not fair.
