Thumbs up EXCLUSIVE: Nigel Farage has declared victory in the 'war for Brexit'

EXCLUSIVE: Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage says the war for Brexit is over and feels the United Kingdom is “a lot closer” to leaving the European Union as a result of the general election result.

“It’s over, the war is over,” he told Sky News host Laura Jayes on Friday.

    “We’re finished, we’re leaving.”

Mr Farage said while the predicted Conservative win was a positive for Brexit, it would not mean all political rows were over.

“Getting Brexit does not end all political arguments but what is does do, is it will - done properly - take us back to being an independent, self-governing, democratic nation.”

“It’s something we should never have given away back in the 1970s.

“At least tonight I feel like we’re a lot closer.”

Of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Mr Farage said he was “a 70-year-old student” of the hard left.

“He’s like a 70-year-old student, he’s just never grown up from that 1960s phase,” he said.

“I’m delighted that despite the temptations of some young people to think socialism is attractive … that tonight has dealt a death blow to socialism in our country for some decades to come and I’m pleased.

“My guess is he’ll be forced out by his party very shortly.”

Johnson won't be ending socialism. In fact, he promised to spend more money on all the socialist programs.

Corbyn was promising to nationalize utility companies and to spend even more money with free college and other stuff.

Even Farage offered free money for college (interest free loans).

That's not the same thing and you know it. That was a costed proposal. Labour's promises were numerous and uncosted.

They wanted to just print free money.

How did he propose to pay for it?

How did who propose to pay for what? How did Farange propose to pay interest free loans back? Is he going back to college?

Are you going to explain how you're equating interest free loans with free money? I've never before seen anyone claim the phrase "free money" does not refer to giving the stuff away.

Warlord claimed that free student loans would be "costed" meaning paid for. I was asking how.

How would people managing student loans be paid? Is it too much to imagine taxes might be utilized (or, in this case, utilised)?
