I'm getting tired of being the boring uncle that always gives silver bullion bars.

The Kiwico STEM subscriptions look pretty cool (for the youngsters). Thinking about doing that for my son. But I'm also the uncle that buys the boys all silver eagles.

That’s quite an age spread. Concert, sports, or movie tickets. Gift cards. One year I bought my then-15 yo nephew a 5 pound Hershey bar. I got cool points for that. Our older grand boys like interesting graphic T-shirts. Socks are trendy.

Our grandkids are very invested in science. There is a science kit of the month subscription that gives them projects to do all year. Then there is The Dangerous Book for Boys. It helps them dream up their own madness.

Money is always good. The younger ones might like $2 bills.
