Mr Government man- can you protect me please? I can't possibly compete with these people who aren't just like me! Please make them go away!
I don't want the government to interfere with my life but could you possibly go and interfere with their lives?

It's because these people who aren't like us will violate our rights.
And it is the legitimate function of government to protect our rights, especially to protect them from foreigners.
Because it's their job, part of them are on our side and government can do it more effectively.

Much of what needs to be done could be done simply by getting government out of our lives and restoring property rights.

Pull the troops from overseas, everywhere.
Redeploy at least three divisions, with air and naval support, along the borders of the United States.
ROE - Anybody leaving is free to leave from any point without molestation.
Those attempting unauthorized entry, by any means, get one warning, withdraw now.
Disregarding that warning will be met with lethal force.
