Why Trump Is Bad for Business

Truth forever on the scaffold, Wrong forever on the throne,--
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and, behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above his own.

Whatever the ultimate result of the trade war, this regime uncertainty is devastating.

No one's making major geography-linked investments until they know where they can manufacture at the lowest cost.

    China?

    Vietnam?

    India?

Who the hell knows at this point?

...and no, it's not likely to be the US in any case.

Business hates uncertainty- and Trump Trade wars have greatly increased uncertainty. That leads companies to invest less in the future and hire fewer new workers. That does not include the higher costs some companies face due to tariffs on goods/ inputs they buy from outside the US.

Now the crash is going to be falsely blamed on free market capitalism despite the fact that Trump is moving us towards socialism at a rapid pace. Hillary may have given us Rand Paul. Now Trump is going to give us Elizabeth Warren.

Hitlery would have completed the destruction of America and we would never see anyone but a communist in office again.

Trump is repairing the economy even if it causes a little short term pain, Warren will not follow him.
