In the first 7:47 of the second Half the Hoosiers out rebounded the Cornhuskers 14 - 0 while shooting 7 of 11 and still only lead by four after leading at half by one . Defense is going to need to step up here .

Hoosiers win in OT 96 - 90 to move to 10 -1 , they out rebounded the Huskers 49 to 28 but give up 12 threes and missed 11 free throws so they made it harder than it should have been . Going to have to play better D , make switches better and hit free throws. We have not had a lot of success against Nebraska in the past , they have been in the Big 10 for 9 years and we were just 6 - 6 against them coming in tonight, so happy with the Win , we play them again next month and I think it will also be an important game for us .

After a very slow start (down 14 points 19-5 in the first half) Colorado came back to beat #14 Dayton in OT 78- 76 at the Chicago Legends Tournament. Cincinnati and Iowa are also playing. Dayton's Obi Toppin is said to be in the running for "Player of the year".

    https://daytonflyers.com/news/2019/1...atch-list.aspx

After pulling his name from NBA draft consideration last spring, Toppin turned heads with his performance at the Nike Skills Academy in August.

In addition to being named to the Olson Watch List, Toppin is also on the Naismith Trophy Watch List, and the Basketball Hall of Fame's Karl Malone Award Watch List. The Naismith Award also goes to the top collegiate player, while the Malone Award goes annually to the top power forward in college basketball. There is an ongoing fan voting component to the Malone Award.
#1 Kansas lost to #18 Villanova and #5 Ohio State beat #6 Kentucky.

Muh Hoosiers miss 6 first half free throws , give up a three right before Half , trail by three at Half against the buckeyes . We need this win . Would get us to 13 - 3 with a second win over a top 15 team . Hoosiers closed the Half hitting one of last sixteen shots , but opened the second Half with an 8 - 0 run . Go Hoosiers !

With 9 to play Hoosiers up by four . I would like to have our 14 missed Free Throws . If we can start hitting them we can win because fouling is the Buckeye defense today .
