China knows this to. They wont feel as much pain as America would.

If this collapsed happened during the 80s or 70s America would had probably survived. Now with so many companies and businesses that had left to Asia not just China don't even think on being positive.
You have it backwards, we can buy things from other sources or go back to making them for ourselves, China is dangerously export dependent and almost all of that dependence is on one irreplaceable customer, they will not survive and we will come out stronger than we are now.

I can tell you here in Iowa weather was terrible for planting with all the rain. Especially in the western, southwestern regions. Frost didnt help either. Harvest is probably above 80%. SW IA is probably more like 70%.

    That being said.....
China owns a lot of the corporate farms who are legally able to get the bailouts...

Mom and pop farms are almost non existant. Just big corporate farming poisoning the air, food, and water.

Between NPR, Reason, and MSNBC you would think that it's all about China not buying US Soybeans. It's horrible. Farmers are dropping like flies and it's all about the beans.

Top 3 soybean states - Illinois, Iowa, Indiana.

Top 3 farm bankruptcy states - Wisconsin, Georgia, with Nebraska and Kansas tied for third.

Yeah, keep telling me it's all about the beans from your cushy offices on the coasts.

Getting the beans out late meant getting the winter wheat in the ground late. If we have a below-average cold winter across the Midwest, there's going to be a lot of winter kill.

Never been about beans . Always been about poor business . We will be nearly immune here . Most of the chumps were weeded out decades ago.
