    Germany Makes Measles Vaccination Compulsory

As of March 2020, parents will have to prove their child is vaccinated against measles before sending them to day care or school.
While the Health Ministry says the bill is “child protection,” critics think otherwise.

The “Measles Protection Act” stipulates that as of March 2020 children and staff in kindergartens and schools, medical facilities, and community facilities must be vaccinated. These include residences for asylum seekers, refugee shelters and holiday camps.
Parents who do not vaccinate their children of school age will face hefty fines of up to €2,500 ($2,749), while younger children could face a ban from day care facilities.
The World Health Organization (WHO) states that 95% vaccination coverage, or “herd immunization,”is required for a country to prevent a mass outbreak.
A report by the Robert Koch Institute, however, found that only 93% of children starting school had received both the first and the decisive second measles vaccine.
Calls for right to individual decision
After months of debate, the law approved on Thursday wasn’t passed without criticism. Pediatrician Dr. Stefan Rabe, a member of the association “Doctors for individual decision-making on vaccinations,” said every parent should be allowed to decide whether they immunize their child.
“The law is unnecessary, ineffective and unconstitutional,” Rabe told DW, quoting the right of bodily integrity.
The main problem, Rabe argued, is among adults. Of the 498 cases of measles reported in the first 10 months of this year, 70 of them were among 20- to 24-year-olds, compared to 37 among 5- to 9-year-olds.

As the measles vaccination in Germany is only available as a triple — and sometimes quadruple — shot, the mandatory measles vaccination will also indirectly make immunization against measles, mumps and rubella, and in some cases chicken pox obligatory.
Rabe suggested that the introduction of a single immunization might appeal to some of Germany’s skeptical parents.
“Some parents don’t want to vaccinate their children against all three diseases due to concerns about possible negative — and positive — side effects later in life,” Rabe said.

Oh no, the autisims will git them now.
    *******

I didn't start out thinking that anti-vax people were fools or impervious to reason, it's from my experience here that I now think that.

Anti-vaxxers, responsible for a 30 percent uptick in totally preventable diseases in the world, have blood on their hands. They shouldn't be considered civilized members of society. If they refuse to listen to a century of scientific studies confirming time and time again that vaccination is an unquestionable good for humanity, then it's time for us to start treating anti-vaxxers as what they are: dangerous and worthy of shame and condemnation. If we can't convince anti-vaxxers to change their minds, we must attach enough social stigma to the delusion that agnostics cease to join them.

So you are openly endorsing forced vaccination now?

When she added that quote to her signature I knew she supported mandatory vaccination.
It's also an attack on free speech.

"If you can't win the argument slander the opposition in order to make people not listen" is what it says.

It sounds like the dictator in Zorro the Gay Blade: "The woman is allowed to speak, but arrest anyone who listens"

It is her attitude that is dangerous and worthy of shame and condemnation, since when is any scientific question "unquestionable" and why should anyone be forced to allow the injection of themselves or their child with substances they can't verify?

So +Rep worthy, but alas I am out!

Fully agree. Its a dangerous attitude, symptomatic of narcissism where by she refuses to see the equal rights of others as "boundaries" that she should not cross. I think we can agree that "we do not own her body" so we have quite literally zero authority to control what she does to herself. It seems she does not see the same natural boundaries in others.

I know you believe vaccines are great and everyone should have them but, there are repercussions for many children who get them. I don't know if you own stock in big pharma or what but just like n one should be able to tell you what to eat or drink no one should be able to demand what you have to put in your body or that of your child.

I don't know if you were alive before MMR vaccine but I was and I know for a fact that the majority of children did not die from any of these diseases probably no more than they do from being vaccinated. The stats on the diseases are online and you can see for yourself that not many children died from them before vaccines became such a big deal. Cleanliness is the biggest thing about keeping children well. I would be willing to bet that if vaccines had not come on the scene that these diseases would be gone by now.

Sanitation, Hygiene and Nutrition is a much better antidote to keep disease away. Not to mention, keeping our borders secure that allows people to come in from third world places that did not practice the above three.

Too many people rely on this pill and that pill or that vaccine or this vaccine because they are ultimately lazy and do not want to research and seek the facts for themselves. Even the vaccine inserts warn of the side effects, but a parent has to ask for them, most doctors/nurses do not voluntary give them the inserts. After reading the insert, you choose not to vaccinate your child, in many cases the parents are bullied and threatened with neglect.

God knew what He was doing when He created us and He even warned us about certain foods not to eat to be healthy (Leviticus 11) . Again people choose not to believe *shrug*
