So the voters own it, they let him have it for a while. They can cancel his "lease" too. (Impeachment is another "due process" which can be used to cancel the lease). If you rent an apartment, do you own it?
The voters can take it away at the end of his term and this "impeachment" is no impeachment and is not following due process.

Again, nobody is using any big words here. Congress gets to make the rules on impeachment.
They get to pass laws too.
But in neither case are they empowered to violate due process or any other rights of the accused.

A term in office is, just as anything else that belongs to anyone.
