+100 Social Credit Score for you!

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

You might want to do some research before you embarrass yourself again.

He owns the term the voters gave him unless properly deprived of it through due process.

So the voters own it, they let him have it for a while. They can cancel his "lease" too. (Impeachment is another "due process" which can be used to cancel the lease). If you rent an apartment, do you own it?

The voters can take it away at the end of his term and this "impeachment" is no impeachment and is not following due process.

Fake news. Repeating something 100 times does not make it true. I asked before what the "due process" was and you were unable to come up with anything.

I have come up with lots, you just pretend it isn't there.

Congress gets to make the rules on impeachment. It's pretty simple.

But they can't violate Constitutional rights when they do so.

You'd think a hard core constitutionalist would get that. He doesn't have to like it, just acknowledge its truth.

You'd think a Constitutionalist would realize that the rights protections in the Constitution always apply and have no exception for impeachment.

TDS drives people completely out of their minds it seems.

If this was President Rand we were talking about this forum would be overflowing with outrage.

Again, nobody is using any big words here. Congress gets to make the rules on impeachment.

They get to pass laws too.

But in neither case are they empowered to violate due process or any other rights of the accused.

It would be funny watching all the TDS "libertarians" advocate for tyrannical powers for Congress if it weren't so disgusting.

Probably. But no matter how far out of our minds they drove us, no constitutionalist would ever call the office of the presidency property.

A term in office is, just as anything else that belongs to anyone.

It's more like joint ownership, because the government owns a percent stake of everyone in the country.

    I knew you weren't a real Texan.

A real Texan would say the Bush family still owns it, and they're just loaning it out for a while.

He owns the term he currently has and he'll own another one if he wins his reelection.
