(CNN)House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a congressional delegation have concluded an unannounced visit to Afghanistan, Pelosi's office said Sunday evening.

The secret trip was made as Pelosi led the high-level congressional delegation to Jordan this weekend, where her office says they discussed Middle East peace and Syria with members of the country's royal family.
The group, consisting of eight Democrats and one Republican, met with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, as well as the country's chief executive, Abdullah Abdullah, and other senior Afghanistan government officials, according to a statement from Pelosi's office. Defense Secretary Mark Esper visited the country at the same time for the first time in this role, and met with the delegation.
The delegation discussed security, governing and economic development during the visit, according to the statement. The group also traveled to Camp Morehead to meet with coalition troops.
"Our delegation emphasized the central importance of combating the corruption which endangers security and undermines the Afghan people's ability to achieve a stable and prosperous future," Pelosi said in the statement. "We underscored that the women of Afghanistan must be at the table for reconciliation talks."

Because Pelosi and the congressional delegation profit and gain from Syria's oil and resources they want Syria to bleed, by making sure American forces coutnine to bleed Syria out of its own resources.

Kurds are being used as pawns. The first thing that the American forces in Kurds area in Northern Syria wasn't to secure or to protect the kurds nope. But rather the US forces brought in their oil equipment and installation, Kurds foolish believe that America's gov is going to share the wealth well they are sadly mistaken, America wont be sharing that wealth from the oil.

Afghanistan is a lost cause. Occupying it further would just prove that democrats are nothing but proud interventionists.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if all these high ranking politicians are hardcore drug addicts.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and disgraced lying Congressman Adam Schiff met with King Abdullah of Jordan, only to find out that the King of Jordan agrees with President Trump’s Syria withdrawal, as well as his support for maintaining the Syrian border, Assad’s government, and Russia’s reinforcement. I guess they are not ready for prime time players.
This last minute fishing expedition had two stops: Jordan to see a King, and Afghanistan to meet with the Taliban. This alleged bipartisan delegation lead by Pelosi and Schiff is really not bipartisan. Thornberry is the only Republican representative that joined the Pelosi – Schiff fishing expedition. He is not running for re-election. Like all compromised FAKE GOP, corrupt RINOs, he decided to step down rather than be called out.

Multiple sources tell us that Pelosi and Schiff were actually discussing and negotiating foreign policy. What qualifies them to undermine our administration’s foreign policy?

As the Ukrainian quid pro quo is collapsing, Pelosi and Schiff are actually making quid pro quo deals to the King to find quid pro quo? Isn’t this a violation of the Logan Act? We have been told that the conversations are transcribed. Pelosi and Schiff promising two-state legislation to King Abdullah in exchange for denouncing President Trump’s Middle Eastern policy and actions.
Failing to get the King of Jordan to give them the sound bites and statements they had hoped for, they hopped on the plane and went to Afghanistan to meet with the President of Afghanistan and representatives of the Taliban.
