If anything like in the Balkans the Serbian people understand this game now. Its all about demographics. Its time for white republicans in America this is how American democrats have taken care over states like California.

    Diversity is strength their motto.

Diversity is a Marxist code word meaning "There are too many white people here. They need to be diluted and displaced."

Hollywood is filled with socialists and they wield a lot of power. The people who are successful in Hollywood have an education in the liberal arts. The marxists invaded education and higher education to shape minds. The liberal arts were the easiest to manipulate. It's hard to insert propaganda into something like engineering. The liberal arts also gave the marxists the best methods to push their political agenda through media and pop culture.

I believe Zippyjuan says the reason is politics moved too far to the right and when Ronald Reagan was governor he was basically a Democrat.

Here is the Gipper saying Medicare will lead to a Marxist dictatorship which I guess is a standard talking point among Senators like Barbara Boxer and Kamala Harris.

Which set of immigrants? the people who made up the workers coming to work in the gold mines were also immigrants from other states and abroad. If anything, California has always been a magnet for immigrants. I have an idea which ones you think is the culprit but you still got to specify which set of immigrants you are talking about

I think that is a question for Diane, Nancy and Maxine. They are the ones who sold California to China. Of course Hillary and Bill helped get the ball rolling for them. The Bush's turned a blind eye to it and Obama set it up so Hillary could bring it all down. They hate America, mom and, apple pie. we all knew this before Trump was ever on the scene.

Remember, you can't call China socialist, they say their economic growth is because they are now capitalist. The same goes for welfare loving, high taxing, big govt Scandinavian countries. If a country is having economic success, it is called capitalistic and if not, we are supposed to refer to them as socialists.

Ted Kennedy and friends invited mass immigration. California is the entry point and beach head.

That is what every mush head on the left says.

I'll help you out. It is a matter of degree. China is socialist country. The government literally owns much of the means of production. China is also a $#@!hole country. It is an impoverished mess. Scandanavian countries are roughly the same as the US in terms of free enterprise. They have more generous welfare states and higher taxes but they also have fewer regulations, freer trade, don't spend as much on military, and until recently lower corporate tax rates.

+rep, someone not scared to name names and point finger. I wonder if there are more groups of people responsible for this shift in policy. My parents came to California in the 80s for grad school and I wonder if they left a bit of their socialist imprint on the state?

But Scandinavian countries are still relatively more on the socialist spectrum relative to the US. Yes, they don't have a minimum wage (Denmark and I think Sweden), have relatively fewer regulations but they still have free secondary education and socialized healthcare. Some people try to point this out and you get people trying to convince you that socialist leaning countries are not socialist.

Is the US a socialist leaning country? Federal, State, and local spending combined with the cost to comply with regulations is over 50% of the economy.

Denmark ranks ahead of the US in business freedom by the World Bank and are neck and neck in the Heritage Economic Freedom Index.

Sweden was the most capitalistic country in the world 60 years ago. So it is a sliding scale.

Never denied that...that's why I'm favor of a total immigration moratorium.

Yes, the squareheads and dutchmen are leftists as well.

But California has not turned blue because it got overrun with Norwegians and Finns.

Theres a lot of things that factor into that. Electing socialist/communists politicians. Mass immigration. Liberal Hollywood and all the junk propaganda they spew.

You are correct, it is not the people from Euro socialist countries coming to Cali. The Norwegians and Finns are loving their socialist state to come over. This is the question I would like to know is this, what makes one socialist state to work and others to fail.

Perhaps it is the same thing that effects every state. The culture of the people. The morality of the culture.

Let’s say that something is being given away for free. One culture may tend towards people grabbing it because it is free. Another culture may tend towards people saying “no thanks, I can take care of myself, I don’t need it.”

The indigenous people of California were never Mexicans, and neither were the Spanish missionaries. Mexico claimed California for a few years because it had previously been claimed by Spain. California was never going to be part of Mexico. California was going to be it’s own Republic, until the US decided to make it a state (granted, the US annexed California before it voluntarily became a state, which was the direction it was going anyway).

    It could have been Education.

When we went up against Nazi Germany, a lot of Germans fled to the US. Inevitably, some of them were probably... um... Undocumented Nazis, like, literal Nazis, but we didnt know about them. And they got themselves into Education to promote the ideas of Socialism in our mandatory educational systems. Those people got funding from existing well funded Socialists. Follow the money. The promises that Socialism makes appeals to immigrants who want free stuff, so message spreads that way also.

What we are looking for may not be a direct causality, but a several step process.
    1776 > 1984

The FAILURE of the United States Government to operate and maintain an
Honest Money System , which frees the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators, is the single largest contributing factor to the World's current Economic Crisis.

Public education. Just like the rest of the country. The State has taken control of educating the young and moved the Overton Window consistently to "the left".

Also, California, New York, Massachusetts, Maryland, Illinois... these states have one thing in common in particular that have caused them to shift further to the left than most of the rest of the country, and it isn't immigration. It's large massive urban centers that dominate their political dynamic. Large urban centers tend left because of 2 reasons - 1., high concentrations of people tend to result in lots of rules and regulations and, 2., "educated" people tend to seek the jobs that are available in those places, which brings us back to the original point: public/government funded education.

They were Mestizos- and had been for a couple of centuries.

The first Mexicans to become part of the United States never crossed any border. Instead, the border crossed them.

Spanish-speaking people have lived in North America since the Spaniards colonized Mexico in the sixteenth century, and Mexicans have always played a crucial role in the continent's culture and history. Mexican culture brought many firsts to North America: The first Thanksgiving took place in either New Mexico or El Paso; the first university in North America was founded in Mexico City; the first printing press on the continent arrived in Mexico in 1538, more than a century before printing came to New England.

Mexicans first arrived in present-day New Mexico in 1598 and founded the city of Santa Fe in 1610. By 1800, Spain had governed Mexico as a colony for almost 300 years. Although Spaniards held positions of power, the people of Mexico were primarily mestizos--people of both Spanish and indigenous heritage.

The northern sections of Mexico, especially the lands north of the Rio Grande, were lightly populated well into the 19th century. Mexican government officials, merchants, and a few trappers and hunters from the U.S. lived in small settlements, mostly around a series of mission churches. This arrangement remained largely undisturbed after Mexico won its independence from Spain in 1821.

    Government school resource?

Southern New Mexico is not California. Indigenous people in California do not call themselves Mexicans. Mestizos in California considered themselves Californios. The vast majority of people in California migrated here after California was part of the US, including people who today consider themselves “Mexicans”.

Define socialism, I only know three ways to run a market:

    1. No Rules/Civil War (Black Market)
    2. Peace/Truce/Sovereignty (Free Market - Life, Liberty, & Property Protected)
    3. Monopoly (The State)

    P. S. Free Market = No Permits, Licenses, Certifications, Medallions, Registrations, Central Banks, Limited Liability, IRS, Property Tax, etc. If you have any of that you are in #1 or #3

Simple answer is young people get indoctrinated in college and move to major cities to find jobs, urban/hipster/culture.

Its self-repeating until they destroy the cities they occupy and move to other nice cities to poison.

    The ideology spreads like STDs

    Socialist Transmitted Disease.
