And is he using tax dollars to bribe them to do it? No?

    That begs the question: So?

Asking for foreign help in a US election is not legal. Whether or not it is financed with taxpayer dollars.

Another lie. I'm sure you know the law but still misrepresent it in order to satisfy your derangement.

Hillary Clinton literally hired a foreign spy, to go to Russia, and get dirt on Trump from Russians. But you don't care.
I just want objectivity on this forum and will point out flawed sources or points of view at my leisure.

He didn't solicit anything. He only proffered unsolicited advice.

That doesn't make it a lie. Yes, he misrepresented what Trump said. But the fact that Hillary Clinton did something is a long, long, long way from proof that something is legal.

Asking for foreign help to investigate crimes and corruption is legal. Being a political candidate doesn't give you a prophylactic protection against investigation.

What other corruption not involving a political opponent has he called for an investigation into?

George W. Bush appointed head of the Federal Election Commission responded to Trump on Twitter (she retweeted a post from June):

(the FEC can't do anything though- they are required to have four vote to take actions- and there are currently only three members on the Commission).

The irony of crooks and criminals who write the laws...... then break them with abandon on a daily basis...... quoting what is "legal" and "illegal" is duplicity and hypocrisy in action.

It won't take very long to get them home but it won't be overnight either but Iraq says they can't stay and they are coming home just like Trump said.

I didn't hear anyone "ask" for anything. I heard the words and terms like "I would think" and "recommend" and "If I was....".

I hate Trump...but the idea that people are more angry at suggesting people who may have committed crimes BE investigated for them is the epitome of partisan bull$#@! of the highest order.

Nope the irony is that they could have investigated and have investigated Trump and his family business dealings with Russia and nobody called for any impeachment

Upholding the law by calling for investigations into foreign influence is exactly what Trump is doing.

Which is why she is going to run, so she can get some of that "political opponent" immunity from punishment for her crimes.

He never mentions Clinton. And it wasn't about her server.

Right after President Donald Trump asked the president of Ukraine "do us a favor," Trump made an unexplained reference to a computer server.

"I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike," Trump said during his July 25 call with Volodymyr Zelensky. "I guess you have one of your wealthy people. The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation."
He does ramble random things, doesn't he? Anyhow, Crowdstrike was Russians (or was it Romainans?) hacking a DNC server (which was not in the Ukraine) and not Clinton.

Crowdstrike is an American cybersecurity firm that aims to safeguard its clients from cyberattacks. In May 2016, the Democratic National Committee hired Crowdstrike after it began to suspect that its servers had been breached.

The firm found that two groups of Russian hackers had infiltrated DNC servers for about a year, giving them access to emails and opposition research about Trump. Crowdstrike then kicked the hackers off the servers.

Then, a Romanian hacker named Guccifer 2.0 claimed credit for the cyberattack and leaked DNC emails to the American press. WikiLeaks also claimed it had emails from Clinton, with Guccifer being its source.

That's a red herring, he can't and doesn't have to investigate all crimes all the time.
If a political opponent commits a crime and there is probable cause then they make themselves vulnerable to investigation and it isn't illegal to investigate them.
You can't read Trump's mind and even if you could his motive can't make a mandatory duty an illegal act, personal political advantage serves the public interest in this case.

So you can't name one. That makes it much more likely that Biden was selected because he was a political opponent of Trump, not his concern about corruption in a foreign country (how does that fit with "America First" anyways- telling other countries what they should do?)

No it doesn't and that wouldn't matter anyway.
It's much more likely that Biden is running for office so he can try to hide behind the claim that Trump is only investigating him because he is an opponent.

It's called diplomacy and looking out for the interests of America as well as those of the other country.

So Biden announced he is running for office AFTER Trump accused him of corruption? You do just make up a lot of things, don't you?

The B-team must be working that account today.

Biden knew full well how corrupt he had been and how open he had been about it, he also knew that Trump was going to get around to investigating the left to please his base so he preemptively ran for office even though he is way too old.

LOL! "I'm going to run for office like I did last time just in case Trump decides to investigate me!"
