It should be noted that despite persistent chatter and theories since start of Weinstein scandals reporting, there has not been any confirmed proof reported in reliable main stream media like CNN, Foxnews, NYT about Enquirer parent Co AMI's links to Israeli or any other foreign intel agencies.

Former head of the Mossad has joined controversial Israeli spy firm Black Cube

By Adam Pasick November 11, 2018

Efraim Halevy, the former head of Israeli spy agency Mossad, has joined the board of Black Cube, the private intelligence company that was hired to find dirt on Harvey Weinstein’s #MeToo accusers and former members of the Obama administration.

Black Cube may soon face a US congressional subpoena seeking information about its operations targeting Ben Rhodes and Colin Kahl, former Obama national security officials who helped to forge the Iran nuclear deal. Democrats on the House government oversight committee unsuccessfully requested the subpoena in July, when they were in the minority; they are set to retake control in January following last week’s US midterm elections.

The New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow revealed the operation against Rhodes and Kahl, which was reportedly initiated by associates of Donald Trump in an attempt to discredit the Iran nuclear deal. Black Cube was also hired by David Boies, then the lawyer for Weinstein, to use undercover operatives to discredit Annabella Sciorra, Rose McGowan, and other actresses accusing him of sexual assault.
US federal prosecutors are investigating whether Weinstein’s hiring of Black Cube violated wire fraud laws, according to the Wall Street Journal (paywall). The firm was recommended to Weinstein by former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak.

Two American billionaires and their shady deals with Israeli intelligence

    9 Aug 2019

Sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and mercenary Erik Prince enjoy strong ties to the Israeli intelligence industry, while cutting sensitive business deals with Russia, China and the US

Ties between the United States and Israel are set to experience deep turbulence as a recently jailed figure face suspicions for working with Israeli intelligence.
The last time this took place, Jonathan Pollard, former US intelligence analyst, was found guilty of spying for Israel and providing it with top-secret information, leading to a life sentence under the Espionage Act.
Jeffery Epstein was arrested on July 6 for the sex trafficking of minors within the US.
The billionaire shared the same personal network that included Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, infamous Blackwater founder Erik Prince, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.
US President Donald Trump previously referred to Epstein as a “terrific guy”.
But this isn’t the first time Epstein has been charged for underage sex crimes.
Between 2002 and 2005, according to a federal indictment, Epstein paid dozens of girls and young women to take part in sex acts with him at his residences in New York and Florida.

In 2007 and 2008, the FBI readied a 53-page indictment to bring him down on sex charges, which was brought to a standstill when he was offered a plea deal with US Attorney Alexander Acosta.
The deal, which remains a state secret, put Epstein in jail for 13 months, but left him able to leave six days a week, for up to 12 hours a day, to work.
Acosta would later be named labour secretary by Trump; and has since resigned his position.

Early reporting can be incomplete/foggy or even inaccurate, let's wait till investigations are completed and all the facts sorted out.

National Enquirer Boss Took Ally of Saudi Arabia to Meet Trump in the Oval Office

Trump’s Publisher Pal Puts Saudi Propaganda Magazine in U.S. Supermarkets

A nearly 100-page magazine published by Donald Trump’s allies at American Media Inc. is providing a different kind of celebrity gossip than the American supermarket shopper is used to seeing. It’s selling America on a fellow Trump ally, Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
MBS, as the millennial victor of last year’s Saudi palace power struggle is known, is currently on an overseas tour to cement his legitimacy. Its current stop is the United States, where MBS met last week with Trump ahead of checking the young-king-in-waiting PR boxes of Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
Greeting Americans on newsstands is a high-quality glossy advertisement for MBS, The New Kingdom. It retails for $13.99, has no ads and its 200,000 copies can be found in venues ranging from U.S. airports to WalMart, Safeway and Kroger’s—raising questions about the magazine’s financing and its origins. The Saudis say they don’t know how it came to be. AMI, which publishes The National Enquirer, insists it had no outside editorial or financial assistance, from the Trump administration or otherwise.
