Bolton's public image has been tarnished, I think the deep state needed to put a fresh face to old evil.

+rep, it seems like some of the trump fan boys have already started attacking you for daring to speak the truth. Trump seems to have replaced a known Israeli firster, neocon, zionist, hawk with an unknown Israeli firster, neocon , zionist, hawk. This proves that he did not fires Bolton for the reasons people on this had would have wanted.

This is an excerpts from an articles written about him when he was hired.

Mr. Bolton appeared to be fortifying what amounted to the most hard-line approach towards Iran in an administration that was already determined to bring Iran to its knees by elevating Charles M. Kupperman, a long-time associate, and former Reagan administration official, to deputy National Security Adviser.

Mr. Kupperman, a former Boeing, and Lockheed Martin executive, previously served on the board for the Center for Security Policy, a far-right think tank advocating for a hawkish Iran policy founded by Frank Gaffney, a former US government official who is widely viewed as an Islamophobe and conspiracy theorist.

Similarly, Mr. Trump, reportedly on Mr. Bolton’s advice, hired this month Richard Goldberg as the National Security Council’s director for countering Iranian weapons of mass destruction.

    Good riddance.

What other administration would have done this?

Unreliable sources not very close to the White House state that Trump has narrowed it down to two people. It is a toss up between Charles Krauthammer and John McCain.

    Bolton's mad.
..."I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, 'Let's talk about it tomorrow,'" Bolton wrote, slightly contradicting Mr. Trump's account that he had asked for Bolton's resignation.

And Bolton, who was a Fox News contributor before he took the administration job, also appears to be taking issue with the president's version of his departure. He texted Fox News anchor Brian Kilmeade, "Let's be clear — I resigned." He also texted Washington Post reporter Robert Costa, "I will have my say in due course."

A person close to Bolton told CBS News' Margaret Brennan that Bolton did indeed offer to resign Monday night, and the president said the two should talk about it Tuesday, although that conversation did not ultimately occur. This person told Brennan that Bolton did submit a letter and characterized it as a very brief letter, not a "diatribe."

The source defended Bolton's service in the Trump administration, asserting that in the last 17 months — the duration of his tenure — there have been "no bad deals," telling Brennan that Bolton weighed in significantly on Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, Russia, China, Syria and Turkey.

The White House will not be issuing an additional statement beyond Mr. Trump's tweet for now. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham reaffirmed to reporters that Mr. Trump asked for Bolton's resignation letter Tuesday night. She also confirmed that Bolton is not currently at the White House...

    HAHAHJAHAHA

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) defended outgoing national security adviser John Bolton on Tuesday, calling his firing a “huge loss.”

"His view was not always the same as everybody else in the room. That’s why you wanted him there. The fact that he was a contrarian from time to time is an asset not a liability,” Romney told reporters Tuesday after the president tweeted that Bolton had been fired.

“I’m very very unhappy to hear that he’s leaving. It is a huge loss for the administration in my opinion and for the nation,” Romney added.

First thought,, Cool, and good riddance.

who he will be replaced with is concerning.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

    Will McMaster be back? https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...aster-n1051996

As frustration with Bolton mounted, Trump reached out to ex-adviser McMaster

In phone calls to McMaster, Trump told his second national security adviser that he missed him.

WASHINGTON — As President Donald Trump began losing confidence in national security adviser John Bolton, whom he fired on Tuesday, he reached out to the man he had fired to give Bolton the job: retired Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster.

In phone calls to McMaster — the first of which took place last fall — Trump told his second national security adviser that he missed him, according to two people familiar with the conversations. It’s a sentiment the president has also expressed to White House aides, they said. Trump has solicited McMaster's advice on various national security challenges, even asking McMaster whom he should nominate to lead the Pentagon, they said.

Trump's contacts with McMaster perhaps presaged his decision Tuesday to unceremoniously fire Bolton. They also were a remarkable shift for the president that is emblematic of how much Bolton fell out of favor since Trump welcomed him into the White House 17 months ago. At that time, Trump was barely speaking to McMaster and regularly did derogatory impressions of him in his absence, according to current and former White House officials.

Like Bolton, McMaster’s firing was also hasty and announced publicly by the president on Twitter. Bolton later said he had resigned and was not fired. Trump's patience for Bolton ultimately wore thin; aides say Trump was close to firing Bolton earlier this year, even putting his name on a list of officials he'd like to get rid of before the end of the year, after which such moves might have a negative effect on his re-election campaign, officials said.
Trump's phone calls to McMaster began in the fall of 2018, about six months after Bolton had taken the job. The most recent call that the people familiar with the conversations knew of was a few months ago.

In another conversation in late spring, when Trump was unsure about his choice of then-Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan to permanently hold the job, the president wanted to know what McMaster thought he should do. At the time, Trump was asking his advisers inside and outside the White House for alternatives to Shanahan, and he ultimately switched to nominate Mark Esper, who was confirmed by the Senate.
Still, the president's outreach to McMaster surprised the people closest to him. "He must be getting pretty far down on his call list because McMaster is not at the top," another former White House official said.

Rand has spoken out against Bolton, and Rand's opinion is supposedly sometimes respected by Trump.
