    Correct.

    The answer is: 50 hours.

A day, say MonDAY when I posted this, was in fact Monday somewhere on Earth for 50 hours, start to finish.

Itís Monday somewhere (dynamic) on Earth in a 50 hour window, but itís not 50 hours in a day anywhere (static) on Earth.

By that same logic - moving your frame of reference - couldnít one also say a day is very short, say 9 hours? By 9am Tuesday in Chicago, itís already 12am Wednesday in Sydney.

I should have known the answer though; I have an employee that flies from Sydney to Atlanta via LA and he lives the same day twice.
