He gets San Diego to 14-2 , looses to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Patriots and Tom Brady and then gets fired. The GM and Marty had a beef. The GM was favored by the owner as that was a reason given for the dismissal of Marty Schottenheimer.
After a bad Washington team has a an 0-5 start, including losing by 27+ in the first 3 games, he gets them to 8-8 and they fire him.
