    So in summary, silver and gold are not really a medium of exchange*, they are a store of value. Furthermore, Gold and Silver ETFs are now the preferred method of investing in these metals.

    (*Not stated in the video is that there is always the slim possibility of complete currency breakdown ala Zimbabwe or Venezuela, at which point silver and gold could be used as a medium of exchange. Don’t hold your breath waiting for it.)

    IMHO, it seems that we may be heading into another silver spike. Speculation time.

    Metals do tend to move opposite of what the economy does. And things are slowing down (tax cut benefits fading, tariffs having broader effects).
