Thumbs up King of Debt : Big gummit smashes spending records ; biggest deficit ever

MAGA literally wins another historic honor of presiding over the biggest debt, the biggest spending and the biggest gummit ever. This is not enhanced deficit but more like deficit on steroids.
    Very alpha :

God I hope the nation declares bankruptcy at the end of all this.

    XD

Can a bankrupt nation bail out all the banks that go titsup because their biggest borrower declared bankruptcy?

It's not beneath Trump to declare bankruptcy when he wants.

    XD

WE'RE NUMBER ONE! WE'RE NUMBER ONE! Winning!

Trump loves debt. It means he gets to spend other people's money.

Deficits don't matter. Debt is good for the economy.

Ergo, time for another r3volution. Where are the patriotic landed gentry of our age to rise up and deliver a new Declaration of Independence?

[April 2, 2016] Donald Trump insists he would be able to wipe out the United States’s debt in eight years.

The Republican presidential front-runner said in a wide-ranging interview with The Washington Post that he’d be able to get rid of the more than $19 trillion debt “over a period of eight years.”

Eliminating that amount of debt in eight years is highly improbable, according to most economists, The Washington Post reported. It could require using $2 trillion a year from the annual $4 trillion budget to pay off holders of the debt.

Trump insisted in the interview that “renegotiating all of our deals” would help pay down the debt by sparking economic growth.

    “The power is trade
. Our deals are so bad,” Trump said. “I would immediately start renegotiating our trade deals with Mexico, China, Japan and all of these countries that are just absolutely destroying us.”

The Washington Post also refuted that claim, reporting that many economists have said a trade war could cripple the U.S. economy.

I guess the power isn't trade.

Maybe the power is the not massively increasing the spending?

MAGA is a successful businessman not was not just very talented reality TV star, he won't take that route as it could reflect badly on his budget management skills.

Trump assumes Obama's mantle as the 'king of debt'

    By Armstrong Williams
    10/29/19

When President Obama nearly doubled the national debt, raising it by almost $9 trillion during his two terms in office, Republicans howled in alarm. Although interest rates were being kept artificially low by the U.S. Federal Reserve and global central banks in the aftermath of the Great Recession, there certainly would be a reckoning down the road when the bill came due.
So incensed were Americans by the profligate borrowing by the federal government that it caused a political revolt in the form of the Tea Party, whose politicians took Congress by storm and demanded accountability for the fiscal irresponsibility in which our country had engaged. Tea Party-affiliated politicians urged congressional Republicans to be willing to shut down the government to force congressional Democrats and President Obama to agree to deep cuts in spending and to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
And, for the first time in decades, Congress refused to pass a continuing resolution (in lieu of a final budget deal) to raise the debt ceiling, which forced a government shutdown in 2013.

One of the central tenets of the Republican Party has been a commitment to fiscal conservatism, which consists of three central prongs: low taxes, low debt and small government. America’s burgeoning national debt, sprawling government bureaucracy and incredible burden of liabilities — that is, promises to pay in the future — seem to belie this set of ethics.

Not once did he mention the debt or deficit in the SOTU.

Also notice people like JIM JORDAN from the Freedom Caucus has kept quiet and sucked up to Trump.

No wonder Amash got so frustrated and quit.

To be fair, there is no proof that he's managing taxpayers money and debt based gummit spending like he was managing his Casinos businesses borrowing/spending cycle.
Also, even if that boom did not last, early on his casinos created a great jobs boom.
