Imagine what would happen, if, by law, every US Congressman/woman, US Senator, President etc. was by US law audited every 1-2 years by an independent agency.
Imagine what would happen if those audits extended to all family members of such 'elected' official?
Would D's continue to push for Foreign Aid to other C's vs. the Homeland?
What happens when the kickbacks dry up?
    M. Waters $4mm House?
    N. Pelosi net worth $150mm+?
    J. Biden son/brother net worth tens of millions?
Clinton family $200mm+ (pre election of BC less than $1mm)?
Obama family $40mm+ (pre election less than $1mm)?
    Disguised under book deals?
    ………….
Those who take are offered more powerful positions within the party (controlled).

That is not a bad idea. Most everything else gets audited that is run by the State at the State level at least. Questions though about who would pay for it? What politicians (exceptions being Amash, Massey, Lee, Paul, and maybe Gabbard) would vote that in?

and what is an "independent agency"? sounds like more swamp.

Yes, lets do an inspection on all politicians and find out just whats these people are hiding.

It's very easy. Just follow the money:

“The right to life is the source of all rights—and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”

So all of Trump's finances should be audited and made public too?

the post quoted doesn't say Anything about making something public. which is really what makes it worthless. there is no such thing as an "independent agency" if you were gonna push such a thing, then yes, force them all to disclose to the PUBLIC, that is the only possible "independent agency". the solution in the OP is just more swamp.

Would there be much point in calling for an audit if the results were unknown to anybody? Other than wasting time and money (which government is good at)?
