Thread: US Women Win World Cup Soccer

"The United States Women’s National Team’s win in France on Sunday was met with chants of “equal pay” by fans dressed in red, white and blue who apparently side with the players’ quest to be paid equally to the men’s national team, as outlined in a lawsuit filed against U.S. Soccer Federation earlier this year."

Well, just join the Men's soccer teams if you want equal pay. Women's sports are already being
subsidized by the revenue from Men's sports.

    The Federalist Papers, No. 15:

Except as to the rule of appointment, the United States have an indefinite discretion to make requisitions for men and money; but they have no authority to raise either by regulations extending to the individual citizens of America.

It seems to me they are already overpaid compared to the men.
The men still pull the World Cup money wagon. The men's World Cup in Russia generated over $6 billion in revenue, with the participating teams sharing $400 million, less than 7% of revenue. Meanwhile, the Women's World Cup is expected to earn $131 million for the full four-year cycle 2019-22 and dole out $30 million to the participating teams.
women getting 22% of revenue vs 7% of revenue for men.

They get pd 15 percent more of revenue than men , so the lesbos want lower pay ? It is a national team should they really be pd at all ?

It's hilarious how networks keep pushing women's sports when so many are not interested in watching.

--The Australia women's Olympic soccer team was ranked 5th in the world, 2016. They lost to a high school team of 15 year old boys. Final score, 7-0.

--The U.S. women's soccer team won the 2015 World Cup and multiple gold medals. They lost in a game to high school freshman boys 5-2.

--The U.S. women's Olympic hockey team lost three games to high school freshman-sophomore boys, 2014.
