I've started a petition for a Medal of Freedom recipient. In light of acrimonious times I think it would be good of our nation to recognize her. She certainly stands out more in the nature of things than Hollywood recipients like De Niro or DeGeneres.

At a counter KKK rally an individual was singled out for wearing a Confederate flag T-Shirt. He was set upon and beaten. A young (18 yrs. old) black woman by the name of Keshia Thomas draped herself across him and shouted..."you "can't beat goodness into a person".



She may well have saved his life. Turned out he wasn't a KKK member and his son thanked her for saving him.

In light of her story I made a petition. To nominate her for the Medal of Freedom.

Please research her as you feel. But, if you are in agreement please sign the petition and share.

It takes 100k signs to get it in front of Trump.

I'm not that popular, but maybe the old adage "a friend, that knows two friends, that knows two friend..." Might drive it forward.
