Fox News 2020 President Poll: Sanders beating Trump by 9 points

    Even ButtPlug is beating him.

New poll shows Trump trailing Biden and four other Democrats

    AFP•June 16, 2019

Washington (AFP) - A nationwide Fox News poll released Sunday shows President Donald Trump trailing former vice president Joe Biden and no fewer than four other Democratic contenders as early campaigning for the 2020 election begins to gain steam.

A separate survey of battleground states, by CBS, shows Democrats strongly favor Biden as the candidate most likely to beat Trump in next year's elections.

The Fox poll showed Biden leading Trump by 49 percent to 39 percent among all registered voters nationwide, while Senator Bernie Sanders held nearly the same advantage over the president, at 49 percent to 40 percent.

Holding edges of 1 or 2 points over Trump -- albeit within the poll's 3-point margin of error -- were Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, as well as Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana.

The polling comes more than 500 days before the November 3, 2020 election, an eternity in the political world. One widely viewed tweet this week shows five presidential candidates in recent decades who trailed at this point in their campaigns -- including Trump -- but who went on to win.

He definitely has the best shot at beating Trump but in the end I'm still thinking Trump will win.

Even if he could beat Trump, it's like saying Miley Cyrus will beat Trump. Neither will ever be the nominee.

Let's just wait and see how the economy is doing when the time comes. Some on these forums postulate a Great Recession. In which case Trump is sunk. We are too far out to even have an idea. It's one thing for people to have preferences, quite another to get them to the polls. As we learned with the R3volution.

I swear all a candidate has to do is say this:

    Increase Social Security payments.
Increase Medicare coverage &/or Medicare for all.
    Free College tuition.
    Universal Base Income for all.
    New Green Deal
    Reparations
    $15.00 minimum wage
    Government jobs for all

    ...did I miss anything.

Bernie Sanders’ ‘Economic Bill Of Rights’ Taken Nearly Verbatim From Stalin’s 1936 Soviet Constitution

On Wednesday, 2020 hopeful Bernie Sanders delivered a major speech about Democratic Socialism.

Sanders understands that many Americans view the term “socialist” as a “slur” and sought the opportunity to clear up some of the myths and allow us to see how great socialism really can be.

Sanders devotes most of his speech to railing about the oligarchs and warning us about how dangerous Trump is, all the while positioning himself as the solution Americans have been searching for. He told supporters, “In 1944, FDR proposed an economic bill of rights but died a year later and was never able to fulfill that vision.” Sanders then presented himself as a modern day FDR and said he hopes to complete the work which FDR began.

Finally, Sanders introduces the centerpiece of his platform, which he calls “a 21st Century Economic Bill of Rights.”

However, there’s something deeply disturbing about Sanders’ proposal.

In an appearance on Hannity, political commentator and historian Mark Levin points out that Sanders has “stolen his agenda from the 1936 Soviet Constitution.”

Here is an excerpt from Sanders’ speech:

A Bill of Rights that establishes once and for all that every American, regardless of his or her income in entitled to:

The right to a decent job that pays a living wage
The right to quality health care
The right to a complete education
    The right to affordable housing
The right to a clean environment
The right to a secure retirement

These six “rights,” which define Sanders’ platform, are indistinguishable from the rights identified in the 1936 Soviet Constitution, which is also known as the Stalin Constitution.

Please read Articles 118-122 of this constitution. (Source: Bucknell University)

ARTICLE 118. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to work, that is, are guaranteed the right to employment and payment for their work in accordance with its quantity and quality.

ARTICLE 119. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to rest and leisure. The right to rest and leisure is ensured by the reduction of the working day to seven hours for the overwhelming majority of the workers, the institution of annual vacations with full pay for workers and employees and the provision of a wide network of sanatoria, rest homes and clubs for the accommodation of the working people.

ARTICLE 120. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to maintenance in old age and also in case of sickness or loss of capacity to work. This right is ensured by the extensive development of social insurance of workers and employees at state expense, free medical service for the working people and the provision of a wide network of health resorts for the use of the working people.

ARTICLE 121. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to education. This right is ensured by universal, compulsory elementary education; by education, including higher education, being free of charge; by the system of state stipends for the overwhelming majority of students in the universities and colleges; by instruction in schools being conducted in the native language, and by the organization in the factories, state farms, machine and tractor stations and collective farms of free vocational, technical and agronomic training for the working people.

ARTICLE 122. Women in the U.S.S.R. are accorded equal rights with men in all spheres of economic, state, cultural, social and political life. The possibility of exercising these rights is ensured to women by granting them an equal right with men to work, payment for work, rest and leisure, social insurance and education, and by state protection of the interests of mother and child, prematernity and maternity leave with full pay, and the provision of a wide network of maternity homes, nurseries and kindergartens.

The only “right” not stolen from the Stalin Constitution was the right to a clean environment. Climate change, obviously, was not an issue in 1936.

The National Review’s Kevin Williamson offers the best definition of socialism: “solidarity that is enforced at gunpoint, if necessary.”

    No thanks Bernie.

He only believes in polls which tell him how great he is and how much he is winning. When his own internal polls showed him trailing Democrats, he first called the existence of the internal polls fake. Then he fired them.

Trump campaign fires pollsters after leaked numbers show him trailing Biden

The Trump campaign fired several pollsters after internal polling numbers from his own campaign that show he's trailing potential Democratic challenger Joe Biden were leaked, CBS News has learned. President Trump called those polls "fake."

The president is set to officially announce his re-election campaign on Tuesday at a campaign rally in Orlando, Florida, a state that helped propel him to victory in 2016, reports CBS News' Weijia Jiang. A new CBS News battleground tracker poll shows likely 2020 Democratic voters would pick Biden as their first choice to go head-to-head with Mr. Trump. But the president said he's not relying on a pitch to persuade voters to re-elect him because his record is plenty.

"I don't think anybody's done more in two and a half years than what I've done," Mr. Trump said.

But 2020 comes with new challenges. The Trump campaign's internal polling shows the president trailing the former vice president in critical battleground states – 39% to 55% in Pennsylvania, 41% to 51% in Wisconsin, and by 7 points in Florida.

The Trump team says the poll is from March, though Mr. Trump has repeatedly denied it existed at all. Still, he's zooming in on Biden.
In a statement to CBS News, the Trump campaign acknowledged the polls are real.

To be fair, it's because he is so used to winning that it would be inconceivable for a poll to project him not winning. I thought for sure that Hillary was going to win the 2016 election, so I'll allow it for now.

Fox News 2020 President Poll: Sanders beating Trump by 9 points
Many here probably aware already that Fuaxnews is a notorious neocons run fakenews outlet that hosts disgraced war lobbies tools like Hannity and Levin. Their polls should be seen with some skepticism.
